I bought this last month, didn’t notice the seller at first and decided to go ahead with the purchase. Price was slightly more than other websites. When I got the laptop and turned it on, it only had 5 months of warranty left. Laptop was new and without any marks of prior usage. Battery cycles were zero at the time of arrival. Tested it by running some benchmarks and witnessed no stability issues. I’m just concerned about the warranty and battery life. Now after a month of usage, battery is heating up. They sold me this product with 3 months of warranty left!!! What a rip off. It’s supposed to be a year!!! I would not recommend if something happens you SOL!!

    • Powerful But Annoying
Capacity: Legion Pro 5i RTX 4060
Note: This isn't a 1 start product, but no one searches for anything other than 1/5. I would give it a low 3. That being said, I have no problem giving it a 1 because the main problem is inexcusable and easy to fix. Cons: - For the price the specs are fine, but I would not reccomend this to anyone without an advanced understanding of computers. The new user experience is awful. You're absolutely blasted with bloatware popping up for all the random useless Lenovo apps. On top of that, the apps themselves a pretty scuffed. They feel like a bios menu, except you have to open them fairly often to change things like battery settings and customize the keyboard. - They also constantly try to get you to install 3rd party apps by pre-checking boxes, which should probably be illegal. Someone who isn't tech savvy could very easily end up with a ton of random trash downloaded from the jump. - Windows 11 is also part of the problem. It's just much less fleshed out and clean than Windows 10 - especially the settings. This will change in the future, but this laptop is here now. Pros: - As far as I can tell the screen is fantastic. I don't have actual equipment to measure it myself, but from their own ratings it seems like it's accurate enough for professional artists. It's also very smooth with the refresh rate, and 16:10 should just be the new standard because it's perfect. - The exterior I think looks really cool. It seems very well build, very little bad flexing, no wobble, and easy to open with just a single finger. It's also pretty easy to take apart compared to past laptops I've had. I put another SSD inside and also saw you can replace the RAM, so it gets an A+ on that front. - And of course it runs well. Better than my desktop with a 2080 ti and a 11th gen i9. Or maybe runs better isn't accurate because I haven't benchmarked anything, but it certainly feels much smoother. Even Starfield ran completely fine on good settings for the 10 minutes I played before getting bored. It also had no problem running Unity, Blender, Gimp, Discord, Chrome, and Spotify simultaneously - granted upgrading to 32g of RAM would have made it more seamless. Final Note: This laptop does a lot right and what it does wrong would be pretty easily fixable, I just know it won't be. If you're tech savvy and want a well-built reliable mid-range work computer with a great screen and some upgradable parts, this is for you. If you are looking to spend a lot on a gift for someone who's not tech savvy, I'd avoid it. The upside are things you're paying for, not just cute little nifty side-effects. 99% of people don't need a screen this good or a laptop this strong. I don't regret buying it, but setting it up was so incredibly annoying that I will not be going Lenovo in the future. They just don't respect your time and want you to sneakily download garbage like McAfee. ... show more
