  • One of the best options at the moment.
Capacity: 16GB RAM | 256GB SSD
So, this is my first laptop. I am a PC gamer and dabble in 3d printing and sketch up for woodworking. This laptop is solid, and with a couple key upgrades, it will out preform laptops many hundreds of dollars more, let’s get those out the way first. RAM: a LOT of ram is now sold strangely with little regard for rank order. This comes with the as expected cheaper 1R16 ram, upgrading to 1R8 is a huge improvement for CPU speed and multitasking (even more so on a Ryzen system). Since Leveno locks the AMD equivalent of XMP, you need to spend a little more to get ram that will run at the specs you expect out of the box as no overclocking is possible. I personally snagged some 1.2V 3200 mhz ram with CL18 timings at $120 for 32Gb Storage: The included NVMe drive is, laughable. It can be used as a boot drive fairly well at 256GB and the read/write speeds are on par with mid range storage solutions. I personally had an extra 2TB NVMe that I swapped out, although this laptop does have two accessible slots, so it can be upgrade down the road if you store lots of games/media/files. On to the GPU, I don’t think this aspect is sold enough. The 130w 3060 goes toe to toe with the 3070 in nearly every aspect, whilst cutting the price significantly. Be aware, a lot of 3070s are under volted in the next price range up, that actually make spending the extra money a downgrade. It’s a good middle of the pack GPU, it lets me play every game I have at acceptable frame rates with higher end settings, and in fact has similar benchmarks to my Windforce 5700XT. Display: it’s 1080p, bummer. However it’s also 165hz, plays any Esport game I play at a locked 165hz, and doesn’t look bad. I don’t have a lot of experience with high end gaming laptops, but for me if I’m playing a game on here and not my desktop, I’m less concerned with graphics and more with usability. Overall, I’m very happy with this laptop and have looked last month, as well as this for any other comparable values for my use case. I haven’t found one yet. ... show more

  • Low storage, easy to add SSD.
Capacity: 16GB RAM | 256GB SSD
A little nervous after I realized it was only 256GB of storage, so I had a bit of buyers regret initially. I found out that it is super easy to add storage, so I decided to buy a 1 TB SSD and give it a try (I’ve never worked on PCs in any capacity). With guidance from a few YouTube videos I easily added a 1 TB SSD and it works like a dream! You’re also able to upgrade the RAM if you so desire. As far as gaming this is EASILY handling all of the games I play (The Forest, Valheim, Elder Scrolls etc) at 100+ FPS. This laptop is great if you’re looking for a well performing mid-price range gaming rig! ... show more

  • Good system
Capacity: 16GB RAM | 256GB SSD
It is a good system but it broke down after the 1st year. We were fortunate enough that we got insurance on it and were able to get the price of the unit.

  • laptop turns on but no display when on
Capacity: 16GB RAM | 256GB SSD
so got this laptop delivered back on the 7th of May have to say as of now it is a good laptop for gaming emulating consoles Etc, but that's besides the point one issue I faced right when I got this laptop is I guess when I was taking out the ram and I put it back in I dealt with a black screen ended up fixing it for that time being by just cleaning the RAM sticks' another time I actually had a black screen turned it off turned it back on and the black screen was gone and as of now after leaving my computer on because I had something running, and coming back to it later then having another black screen and now can't find a way to fix this can't see my display whenever I turn on my computer I don't know why Lenovo has this problem with their computers but now it's making me regret buying this thing even though it's so good for gaming it's just the stupid back screen that shows when my computer is turned on ... show more

  • Good with some flaws
Capacity: 16GB RAM | 256GB SSD
This is a great laptop with a few confusing flaws. The screen is quite dark and has significant backlight bleed. It's also advertised as having freesync, but I have found no way to enable it, even when turning off hybrid mode. Also, there is no way to use the XMP profiles for your RAM, which is frustrating and confusing. After upgrading my RAM sticks, I'm not allowed to run them at their advertised specs. It is fast and works well for gaming, but I might have tried something else if I had known about these issues. ... show more
