I had a Surface Pro that I spent quite a lot of money on that just crashed after Windows 11 installed. It still would work but needed a substantial upgrade to to work well and those just aren't upgradeable. As a result I wasn't excited about buying anything expensive this go around. Windows 11 out of the box and everything works great. Snappy little computer that doesn't have any lag at all. The battery works for 4 or more hours of fairly intense office work. That's far better than the Surface pro. Only complaint is the screen matches the price tag. While it's not bad and is very will lit, it's a little washed out. I bought 2 for my kids to use in college and the price is value for money. Battery life is excellent, it's not too heavy and it runs very smooth in terms of performance. Got this because it's lightweight, smaller than my previous heavy Dell, and it had good specs. While I don't like Windows 11, it's now a must, but it was easy to tweak it to make it more user friendly. No backlit keyboard, which some reviews suggested it had. That's the only minus and would've paid extra for it. I like the keyboard and as a former devoted num pad user, have quickly gotten used to not having one.
