  • Manufactured with recycled carbon fiber, the X1 Carbon Gen 11 incorporates recycled materials from front to back. The top, bottom, keyboard, and even the battery back all include recycled materials. Bio-based materials like bamboo and sugarcane are integrated into the laptop packaging, ensuring it is 100% rapidly renewable.
  • The updated keyboard includes tactile bumps on some of the keys, making it easier for touch typists. The revised 120mm glass touchpad is larger than the last one (110mm) and still includes the familiar ThinkPad buttons at the top. Other changes include a slightly smaller form factor, thinner bezels providing a 5% higher screen-to-body ratio and its even lighter, just 2.41 pounds without the charger!
  • A full HD webcam, dual-microphone array, and stereo speakers allow for easy video conferencing while working on the go. The best keyboard of any PC or Mac. Great screen. Lots of memory. Long lasting charge. High quality build. (you can actually stand on it!) It also provides both the TrackPoint and TrackPad pointing devices. I find the Track Point to be more precise and intuitive, (it's' that iconic red dot in the middle of the keyboard) so I disabled the trackpad. The TrackPad is Lenovo's name for the pointer that every other notebook uses. The only downside is that is a little heavier than similar models from other brands. ... show more

Very happy with this, upgrading from a Gen 9 X1 Carbon to this. Feels very familiar, was able to drop right in and be comfortable with the size, feel of the keyboard, mousepad, etc. I use this to run dual monitors and a few USB devices, so it's nice to have all the ports right there since I don't use a base. I'm only a day in with this model, but since I liked my previous version, I'm expecting good things from this. ... show more
