If you have Spectrum Wifi you can download their anti virus protection software free of charge. And, it is one of the best protection plans on the market, valued at $69.95. There are YouTube videos that explain how to download and install Spectrum anti virus software - and it's free if you already have Spectrum Wifi. I was excited to receive my purchase. was getting everything set up. Microsoft was trying to charge me so I emailed support due to advertising lifetime free. they emailed back and said no it is one year. Then as I continued to try to get things set up. the ideapad stated that there was only 2 months left of warranty that it had been activated since march 2023 ummm this was purchased under the guise of a new laptop. so I am returning it immediately and expect a refund with no issues!! ... show more

This is a personal computer for me. Replaced the Dell that took forever to update and boot up. Not a problem with this computer. I gave it 4 stars because I had to call Lenovo about a keyboard problem. They were not knowledgeable. everything they told me didn't work. I was furious. I just bought it. Looked up a few things myself and figured it out myself. So if you need help from them forget it. ... show more

This computer is slightly smaller than my last one. It is also lighter and more compact which I really like. The only problem that I have is the size of the curser - I'd like it to be larger.

    • Without a doubt the worst computer I've bought in years.
It looks good. It's sleek. It was impossibly inexpensive, which should have told us what was going on. It has a processor so slow that it hangs indefinitely if you try to download a pdf. It is completely unworkable. It's also got an 11s operating system. You can make your own mind up about that, but it's there to make you unable to use any program Microsoft hasn't blessed. And they lied outright about offering free Microsoft Office 365. They wanted to set that up for us on a subscription basis. This one is going directly back to Amazon.     • Good on Paper, Mediocre hardware
The laptop looks good on paper, but the processors are towards the bottom of the food chain and the laptop's performance reflects it. The 16GB of Ram don't actually speed anything up, and everything takes almost 1 to 2 minutes just to start up and function. Attempted to watch a Youtube video shortly after turning on and booting. The :50 second video took 1 minute to load prior to me watching it. Hope this helps in your decision making to buy or not. ... show more

    • Very expensive for what is offered.
Product works o.k. It is just the same as a chromebook . The free lifetime office seems to be only a year and you have to message the seller to get the product code and installation instructions. The message I received was a product code to receive my free " year " of office. Will not even bother with office, do not buy if you are excited about the lifetime office. Without the office it is only worth about $250, paid almost $600 with taxes. ... show more
