The Lenovo Ideapad is a wonderful laptop, very sturdy with a nice size display (15.6) and a full 104 key keyboard with numbered, something you usually only see on laptops 17 inches and above. The battery life is stellar as the SSD (1 TB) has no moving components; I've been able to use it in airports without plugging it in and with hours of battery life to spare. The display is bright and colorful, and fast enough for FPS games. The TouchPad is responsive and the multi-finger swipe expressions are easy to lean and very useful, as well as assignable.     • Whelp, this is going back…
This is absolutely the worst computer I’ve ever owned. I’m a Mac guy but needed a PC for some software I need to run. I received it today. Fired it up, went through all the settings and it seemed like it was going to work okay. Left the house for a couple hours while it finished its set up. Got home and went to install the software I need and literally nothing works. I can log on, but the windows button doesn’t work. No apps open. Can’t even open settings. I’m currently resetting back to factory and If that doesn’t fix it, I’ll be returning it tomorrow. I’ve read the comments about the office license only being a one year subscription. I can’t comment on that because I can’t even get the computer to any apps!! I’m hoping it was just an install issue and resetting it will resolve the issue. I’ll update if it does and my opinion changes, but for now, I’d recommend buying a used computer from FB marketplace before spending the money on this machine. ... show more

This is a very nice laptop at a midrange price. Because it comes with windows 11 and Microsoft Office already installed, the set up was very easy to do. I also bought a Lenovo silent blue tooth mouse in matching silver color. And, the set up was easy to install. If you have Spectrum Wifi you can download their anti virus protection software free of charge. And, it is one of the best protection plans on the market, valued at $69.95. There are YouTube videos that explain how to download and install Spectrum anti virus software - and it's free if you already have Spectrum Wifi. Overall, I am very pleased with my Lenovo Everyday Idea laptop and I highly recommend it. ... show more

I am a 78-year-old woman. Purchased this laptop in March 2024. It is now Sept. 2024 and the entire back hinge holding the screen up is DETACHING from the base. I have been gentle with this computer and have neither slammed it in any way nor dropped it . I am unable to close it due to the delicate nature of the hinge. I am existing on a very limited income and have no funds to replace this laptop!! DO NOT BUY!! ... show more

I bought this to work remotely over the holidays. Ordered it on 12/8. It didn't arrive until 12/20. Discovered MS Office Home and Business (not MS Office 365-I do not want Office 365) isn't in the list of Programs. Inside the package came a business card with a QR code to 'claim your Microsoft Office Life Time license key. The QR code takes you to a link where you have to select from one of three pre-determined issues you are having with your purchase. After selecting one of the options I was taken to another message stating that 'due to the Amazon purchase process, bundled items were not included.' I had to provide my Amazon order number and contact info to resolve this. It's been two days since providing my information and I have not heard from the seller yet. Needless to say, I bought this because of the MS Office program and lifetime license to use while on vacation and that is not happening. Had the program and license been installed, I would've given 4 stars; 5 if it arrived on time. ... show more

I love the size of this particular laptop and I couldn't beat the price. I have a lot of writing and pictures so the storage capacity was important for me. My last Ideapad I got in 2018 and I still have it, but it only has Windows 10 and a hard drive rather than an SSD. You really can't go wrong with this laptop.
