The screen comes to life with color and detail. It's fast to process and change screens. Didnt take long to learn a lot of the ins and outs and where to find things. Massive amount of storage. The only thing that I don't like (and it could be operator error) is the touch pad, it seems to be too sensitive and wants to open programs when you're mousing it. I don't like laptop touch pads or keyboards and always purchase external ones to use, so this may or may not be a problem for anyone else. Like I said, it could be operator error and I have heavy fingers.... I won't downgrade my rating over it, because it has no affect on how I use it personally. ... show more

I got the laptop finding all these new features like when the battery sits on 100% percent for a while it will stop charging and let it drop to 94% (This is not on conservation mode) at first I started to freak out for the first time but after a bit it started to charge back up. This was the worst purchase I made. The speakers were blown and the numeric pad didn't work. Then, when I went to return it they said that I had to wait for the seller to accept the return. WHAT? I had no idea I was buying it from a 3rd party person. I thought I was buying it from Amazon 😓😞 Very unsatisfying and I NEVER complain. There is a lot to like but I hate the trackpad's operation. When I am scrolling it will often open whatever link that happened to have stopped on. For example, scrolling down through my mail. I stop the scolling on some mail heading. It opens that mail. I now have to close that mail. Sometimes when I set my finger on the pad to start scrolling, it will open whatever link the pointer is sitting on. I then have to close that link. I would prefer that it only does a left click when I press hard enough to activate the mechanical switch. The two finger scrolling combined with the spread-fingers-zoom often zooms the screen when I don't want it to. I then have to unzoom. I find myself often undoing what the trackpad does for me. My solution is to use a handheld trackball in place of the tackpad wherever and whenever I can. There are many good handheld trackballs here on Amazon. ... show more
