I wanted a light travel friendly 2 in 1 laptop with all day battery life. I have an older Lenovo laptop and an older Lenovo Tablet and wanted to combine the benefits of both. The 2022 Lenovo IdeaPad Flex 3 Chromebook seems to fit the bill for me. For an inexpensive (under$250) computer this device is very fast in boot up, and set up. Linking with my phone was simple. The hinge of 2 in 1 devices can be a weak point but I think the IdeaPad Flex 3 is very well built. It has a great finish. the keypad feels good and the touch screen has been excellent. On board storage is limited but it's a chromebook and I expected that. The only drawback I can see is that the SD card reader allows the card to stick out which is not optimal if you like to leave one in the slot. This is a powerful computer that just works and works. I've purchased computers from all the big manufacturers out there (HP, Dell, Asus, Acer) but the only brand that has never had an issue is the 3 Lenovo computers I've purchased. I tend to look for budget computers in the $500-$1000 range and I have been shocked by failed hard drives (even had an SSD fail on a $800 HP laptop). Bought my son a $1200 Dell gaming computer and it gets so hot you could fry an egg on it and the fan noise makes you think it's going to take flight. By contrast, I have not had a single issue with Lenovo's. I purchased this Lenovo as a replacement for my Lenovo that I purchased in 2016. It was still going strong but I had filled the 1GB storage and overall, the CPU and graphics were struggling to keep up with the video editing software I use. This new laptop screams with speed and performance but it's whisper quiet in doing so. I love it and may never buy a non-Lenovo computer again. ... show more

The laptop is awesome. The functions, the navigation, charge time, usage time all amazing HOWEVER the volume is sooo low even on high. I have tried a sound booster to laptop itself but it wasn't good for the speakers and made it sound worse. Maybe I'll get a speaker and connect via Bluetooth to get a better sound but outside of that, it's a great laptop/tablet. Oh and it does NOT work with ANY pens. I verified with the Chromebook site. I ordered this for my 10 year old daughter for Christmas so we haven't used it yet and I cannot speak to the quality of the item but it looks very nice and isn't heavy at all. I had ordered the Blizzard White and received a blue/grey color. I reached out to the seller and they were very quick to respond and they issued a $50 refund to make up for the incorrect color. I found this device a good option for tablet/chrome book, It functions exactly like a chrome book and I am able to use a mouse which is helpful for me. I thought it was what I needed for a good price. As a tablet was also very useful. The bad thing was that if fell backwards and the screen broke badly. It is indeed my fault but I found that the device itself is so heavy that the keyboard doesn’t offer much stability when attached to it. And for making it worst the touch screen doesn’t work anymore, the cost of replacing it is higher than the tablet itself. So it looks like I am stuck with a broken chrome book since for its price I don’t want to throw it in trash. So my advice: If you use the keyboard make sure you give it enough table space or hold it tight. Other than that I think the product (before breaking) was a good buy. ... show more
