Took awhile for me to receive this but eventually received it. The quality and construction seems very good. The case fits like a glove for my 14 inch Lenovo X1 Carbon. The color is a nice contrast to the black colored laptop. The additional pocket inside should be good for cables, dongles, smaller accessories like usb drives, and papers but a charging brick won't fit in it. The flap has magnets to hold it in place and should be good to secure it when keeping the case in a bag, however the magnets aren't the strongest. This wasn't a too big of an issue for me as the laptop really fits in the case like a glove so I'm not too concerned about it falling out of it. My laptop is already pretty thin so thicker laptops might have some struggle getting in and out of the case. I can also picture the flap not shutting securely for thicker laptops so please keep that in mind before ordering. My laptop dimensions for reference: 315.6 x 222.5 x 14.96mm

To me, the most important thing to decide which case to buy for my laptop is the EXACT measurement of the case. The description of this case was so vague that I thought this might be a knockoff. It turned out to be a "manufactured for Lenovo" by Nidaike (meaning it is NOT a knockoff), and the case I received has a "thinkplus" logo on the lower right which is not shown on the product page. I just can't believe that they think "for 13-14 inch laptop" is enough to tell us the fitment? I measured the dimensions to be 13 3/4" x 9 1/2". It fit my Thinkpad X390 (12.1" x 8.25" x 0.7") perfectly. That was a pleasant surprise! I wonder if any 14-inch laptop really fits. So be very cautious. The case is rather thin. Outside is canvas-like woven fabric and the inside is faux-nubuck. It will not scratch your laptop but not very soft either. While it fit my laptop very well, it's kind of rigid overall. It's very well made, but still left me feeling underwhelmed. My 3-star rating for this to be "average", it does not mean negative.

I tried this item with four different computers. The only device that was a good fit was a MacBook Air. The other devices were a t14, ThinkPad X1 Yoga Gen 8, and an Apple iPad. The iPad fits, but I think the glass would crack easily if this sleeve were dropped, because there is not enough internal cushioning. The other devices mentioned could not fit and close properly. I would recommend this sleeve if you wanted to put it in a bag and prevent your device from bumping around inside, but not if you want to carry it around by itself.

I ordered three different sleeves, trying to find a perfect fit for my generic tablet that seems to be a 10”. I also have a 14” laptop. I figured if a sleeve didn’t work for the tablet it would still be nice for the laptop when traveling. This one is very tasteful and professional looking. I would probably take it to a business meeting. It is a pretty good fit for the tablet I was trying to match. It seems a rather tight fit for the laptop though. It closes properly, but you’re not going to sneak a pair of reading lasses in with it or anything. Has a mildly magnetic closure in the flap. I did not test for water resistance.

I like this as a simple solution for carrying my iPad or Chromebook tablet to appointments. It's lightweight and unintrusive. Be aware that it doesn't have any handles or straps, and I don’t think it would work for all but the thinnest laptops. I think it’s better described as a tablet case, not a laptop case. But for a minimalistic way to protect a tablet from bumps and scratches while carrying in-hand or in a bag, it does the job well. My only complaint is that while it is flexible like a fabric case, it does hold a shape somewhat, so once the corners got bent by other objects (while the case was empty), they have remained slightly curled.

It fits my Lenovo ThinkPad 13" very snugly. There's not much leeway on the sides nor at the top of the opening. I highly question that it would fit any 14" laptops. I like the minimalist design of this laptop sleeve. The colors are monotone, boring and corporate; it's nice if you like this kind of style. The material is durable, pretty, and the sewing was done really well (the thread is thick and I found no loose threading). The logo is probably heat pressed on and it will eventually rub off over time but it looks nice for now. Execution of this sleeve is meh. Interior is faux suede so it has a light residue when you touch the inside (which transfers to my laptop) and it has a factory rubber smell to it (it could also be the glue). I wiped it down a few times with alcohol wipe, hopefully it will get rid of the factory residue and smell. Faux suede does have a slight grip on my laptop so it doesn't slide out easily, which makes sense since it only has a magnetic clasp; I wouldn't want my laptop flying out for no reason. With this in mind, there's no padding lining. I prefer a thin layer of padding 1-2mm to cushion the laptop if it falls (which can help prevent it from slipping completely out of the sleeve, too). There are two magnets on opposite sides of the flap. I wish it had a third magnet in the center so that the middle doesn't pop up since the magnet on the right definitely feels weaker than the other magnet (approximately 1/3 less). If I don't align the magnets properly, it will cause the right corner to pop up. I'm not sure if there are strong magnetic strips but I feel that a large magnetic strip would streamline the flap closure much better or add a third magnet in the middle. If you look at another reviewer's photo, you can see that the center of the flap does pop up a little bit. Don't get me wrong, I like the style and the materials used. I just wish they added the "plus" to their thinking when executing the functionality of the design. Update 6.6.2024 The factory rubber smell was reduced by 50% after wiping it down with alcohol wipe. It also appears there is less residue as well.
