Never had a problem with this. Works like you would expect and has sound quality that was above my expectations. Just make sure you’re tuned to the station you set it to otherwise it will sound a bit grainy. You can call just fine with this as well and the usb port does work and charges fast. I also like the light because I can see my key fob in the dark but it can be a bit annoying when actually driving during the night. ... show more

I had no clue something like this existed when I was originally just searching for an aux power outlet to usb-c to connect my phone in my old 2012 car. Little did I know that this amazing gadget would make my life ten thousand times better in the car. you can get a thumb drive of your music to fit into a slot that has a charging cord in the other slot. That issue is not specific to this model. Many of these FM transmitters do not provide enough room between the charging slot and the one that plays music files from my thumb drive. It really is such a tiny, TINY bit of space that is needed for one to plug something into both slots at the same time. I have to choose between charging my phone and listening to my music. Would take only an nth of an nth of extra space between the 2 slots so you can use both at the same time. And yes, I have sought charging cords and thumb drives that are as teeny in width as possible, but it is still an issue because the 2 plug ins push against each other thus causing at least one of them to become crooked and potentially damaged to the point of not being able to use it any longer. Otherwise, it sounds good, it works as it is supposed to work, etc. but that lack of a tiny bit of space between the 2 slots is a major factor for my purposes. If that's not an issue for you, then by all means, buy one of these. ... show more

I did very minimal research before buying this device. I currently use a 2006 vehicle that doesn't have a aux cord jack or a DVD player. It just good old fashioned radio. I wanted access to my music while driving without investing in a anything expensive. This device is honestly a life saver!! I just plug it into the cigarette lighter socket and once the car is on it immediately powers the device. I connected it to my phone via Bluetooth (took less than 5 mins) and then placed my car radio to the station displayed on the device. The music is crisp and clear with no static at all. Its pretty much sounds like I plugged my phone directly into the car speakers. The device itself is small, and not very bulky. You can also hear/answer incoming calls! I have anxiety while driving and I found that music is the main way for me to get in the zone without feeling like I need to pull over. So I give this gadget 5 stars!
