    • Works great for suburbs
It works great, however, not for a busy city. I live in the NY suburbs, when I drive to city, the signal gets worse as I a get near the city (Yonkers). The charging ports are not powerful, it just maintain the same battery level on my iPhone XS Max. I’m happy with it, it does what I need it to do.

The media could not be loaded. Thank you Aluratek Team, For producing the 'Oh So Amazing' Bluetooth Car Transmitter. I should have bought two!! I've been using this thing almost for about two weeks. Not every single day, obviously because I love it. But it only becomes fun after get you past all the mildly confusing stuff. (I'm talking about the instructions that really tiny square pamphlet you send in the box) But once you're past it... You feel like God. Plug it in and connect the receiver to my radio. Then turn on Bluetooth on my phone. Bap!! I'm playing my music, or I'm playing a podcast, easy. At first I thought it sucked really bad, but the reason why is because I set it to a station that had a little bit of music when I drive under traffic lights and trees. (and where I live there's a lot of trees and a lot of traffic lights) So I hunted and hunted and I found the station. 96.5 it played silence. I said, "Eh." "Sure." "What the hell, I'll try it." Little did I know this was the perfect station. Clear as day. Not a cloud in the sky. (Clearer than 'Claritin Clear') No staticky music! No staticy podcast! No staticy phone calls! Claritin Clear!!     • Amazing product value! much better than these types of adapters used to be.
I had been using a cassette bluetooth adapter in a 2002 mercedes because there was a general web opinion that these fm transmitters were not as good. Didn't want to give up the excellent stock radio! Boy were they wrong. I live in a metropolitan area and it was easy to select a station away from other signals with no perceptible noise or static . It immediately recognizes my phone every time I get in the car. The mic works fine and I like that I can put the phone in the console and still receive calls. My wife says it sounds far clearer than when I call from the phone itself (on speaker). The other cassette adapter device would stream audio but not do hands-free calling. I also bought the "upgraded" version first and use it in another car (Lexus R350) because the flexible neck is a bit more obtrusive in the smaller car because of the power adapter location. This one works equally as well as far as I can tell and it's more compact. I do use the USB ports to charge the phone and other accessories with no issues whatsoever. At this price, all the kids/grandkids are getting one as a stocking stuffer for christmas...then maybe they'll get the hint and call more often! ... show more

Works as advertised. Use in my 1999 Toyota Camry. There is some static sometimes, but I think if that is a big deal, then maybe should upgrade to a new stereo. Fine for audiobooks, etc.

    • Nothing but feedback
This was not easy to use. Have to keep switching from one channel to another to answer calls. When you talk the person on other end always hears themselves talking over your car speakers. Very distracting and you have to crank the volume up to hear them so once the call is over your have to remember to turn volume back down otherwise your stereo blasts music on full force. OH and apparently your are only given ONE month to try this product out. I went to return this after only 6 weeks and the return window is closed already. Not happy at all! ... show more

    • perfect design and function.
This is the best car gadget I have ever used.Setup and operation are easy and I bought it for one thing....to be able to download songs from my laptop to a flash drive and use it in my car. Love it. And it remembers what song I was listening to the last time I drove the car. AAA rating.

    • Inexpensive upgrade for my old car stereo
This product has brought my old 1995 Tahoe to the new century by enabling hands-free phone calls and ability to transmit song playlists or apps such as spotify directly to the existing factory stereo via Bluetooth technology. I'm pretty happy about that. I've had it plugged in for a couple of weeks and it works great. I used to shut the radio off on the way to work because the stations around here are all talking in the morning. I need my tunes!! Now I have them. Great product! It arrived quickly and well packaged after ordering and the instructions were very simple to get it going. Great product - would purchase from these folks again. ... show more

    • This works great but you have to know the limitations
This is a great and easy product to get your smartphone to play through your car speakers. However, you have to make sure the FM channel you select is not close to another channel in use. The volume can be a bit erratic, may need to turn up the volume on both the car control and your smartphone. Love how you don't have to charge it separately! ... show more
