When I ordered a Bluetooth adapter for my older car, I wasn’t expecting much. As a DoorDash driver who spends hours in my car, I just wanted to listen to audio books and music from my phone. This adapter does all this and more! The phone calls on my iPhone 13 are crystal clear both for me and the recipient. Siri and voice messaging picks up my words even with the A/C on full blast. Setting it up is pretty easy straight out of the box, even for me, and I’m not the most technologically savvy person. When you plug it in, the device enters Bluetooth pairing mode automatically. My phone took a few minutes to find it the first time, but after that connecting is easy. To change the FM frequency, you press the button in until the numbers on the screen flash and then you can use the arrow keys to tune to a better quality station. I used a website that lets you know the best blank frequencies to use in your area. I drive in a pretty wide range for my work, and I never noticed a reduction in sound quality or any static for an entire shift. The display is backlit and easy to read. Probably my only complaint is that when you’re using the USB ports, you can’t see the display because they’re so close to it. But once you’ve got the device set up you don’t really need to worry about it. The instructions said that it can show the current state of your car battery, but I have never seen it anywhere. There’s an LED ring around the edge of the adapter that you can change different colors, though the screen itself stays blue. The charging port works great. My old charger worked super slowly and it was sometimes annoying when I was working. This one has a fast charger and fully charged my phone in no time. I haven’t had any connection issues or noticed any overheating. I keep the device plugged in all the time when I’m working (because I don’t want to be constantly plugging and unplugging it) and I haven’t noticed any problems with my car battery for the 5-10 minutes that I’m inside restaurants. The recommended practice is to unplug it though. I do of course unplug it overnight. Although I’ve only owned it for a couple of days, it feels like it will last me a long time. ... show more

Can't Turn off radio broadcasting

Kind of annoying how you can't turn off without plugging out the entire thing but overall not bad. quality is pretty good. easy to connect with bluetooth and radio frequency.

Really love this FM Transmitter! Does have Siri and GPS support!

I absolutely love this FM Transmitter! This was an upgrade from the NX09 so I was very curious to see what was different since it doesn’t really list exactly what features were upgraded from the NX09. I was also very concerned that this model would not have the Siri and GPS integration because it does not say it does anywhere in the listing. That didn’t make any sense to me though because that would be a downgrade and not an upgrade. I was VERY happy to see that Siri and GPS navigation do indeed work with the NX10. This is a really important feature to me since my car does not have built in hands free calling or GPS (and our state just passed a hands free law so this was a NEED and not just a want). I love the availability of being able to tell Siri to call someone or get directions for me and I can hear it loudly through my speakers. The call clarity is excellent and according to my husband WAY better than the NX09. I would call him on the 09 and he would constantly say that he couldn’t hardly hear me or it would sound like I was down in a well or it would cut out. Maybe the call clarity is the biggest upgrade with the 10? If so it’s a great upgrade. Now I do occasionally hear a humming/buzzing sound through my car speakers when I’m not playing music or something but that may just be because of interference on that particular frequency. It’s not enough to really be an issue. I like that the USB port and buttons to change channels are on the top with the NX10. It’s on the side on the NX09 and the way my outlet is made in my vehicle (it sits in pretty deep) it was very hard to get to. This one is much easier to get to the USB port or change the channel frequency. I have used the NX10 for Pandora, YouTube, the CBS app, audible, and many others to listen to stuff while driving. I have not found anything that doesn’t work so far. This is an excellent device if you need a hands free device for a vehicle without one built in and it is well worth the money. As much as I love this transmitter though I do have to say my perfect FM transmitter would have the awesome call clarity like the NX10, Siri and GPS abilities, the long gooseneck like the KM models (18, 28, 29, etc) and the color screen and equalizer options to change settings based on music preferences for better sound. Plus the option to change your colors like the NX09 (I like the purple best). I’m not sure if the 10 let’s you customize colors or not. I need to look at the manual and see. So Nulaxy could you possibly make one like that? The gooseneck seems like it would be very helpful for car outlets that are deep like mine and much easier to see in general while driving. Needed a separate Bluetooth transmitter to run with my portable CarPlay unit because the built-in transmitter on it was damping my sound in my speakers way too much because of a low quality receiver on its end. Got this hooked it up and it was the perfect fix.

This is the first one that I bought, right now, because my last car was totaled, somebody hit me, I am driving a 2004 Cadillac cts. High mileage, and all that, but and it's an older car, so I needed something to turn my sound system, into a Bluetooth sound system, this device, was made by jesus. LOL literally, I also got a couple of different things, because they had the power off switch and some other things, but I'll tell you what, not very much, there wasn't much more than than this one does. This one is very easy to program, to any frequency that you need to along with your radio station, it's very easy to stay connected to your phone, so when you get back in your car, and you plug it back in, it immediately connects with your phone, every time. It has forward and back buttons, so if you're have your phone sitting somewhere, and you want to hear a song again or a few back, just hit the back button on the transmitter, and it'll take you back even on YouTube on your phone. It's very simple to change the colors, it's just a button on top. The sound, is amazing. I looked into a lot of different nuloxy products. Other ones that are supposed to have more bass, etc. Mind you, like I said I am driving a cadillac, even though it's 2004, it has quite a stereo on it, however, one of the speakers, my driver's side, has some issues. But the volume level that you can get up to and the sound output that this thing gives you, it does everything that all of the other transmitters with the on-off switch, are saying that they do, mine is Maybe I don't know, finding a frequency on its own? I know some of them claim that they do that, I don't know. But other than that, you have a 3.0 charger, or you can plug in your mp3 usbs, listen to your music that way, and I believe you can do a couple of other things too I'm not exactly sure what else you can plug in you'd have to look at the product description. But, you cannot beat this, and honestly and I researched things quite a bit, and even the next version I believe it's the nx14? Or the NX I'm sorry the NX 12 does not have the reviews that this has. Because I have this car, if I were to leave it plugged in, I have read, that you will come out in your battery will be dead in the morning. Not all cars continue to charge once you turn them off, but this one does. So, I had gotten a different transmitter I was going to keep both of them, this one and the other one, because it had the on-off switch. And then I read, that it still draws power, just like if you had your computer plugged in, and you left it plugged in, it's still drawing power, so on off does me no good with my car that continually power, even from a product that's off. And the other product, actually, I thought it was really good, it for a couple of days, no, the static, I can't take it. Much more staticy than this, occasionally you'll get some static with this but to be honest with you, this your phone and your volume level in your car, will override most static that you'll find, I live in Orlando florida, there are literally no open stations, everything says poor, I can still hook it up to anything with any frequency that says poor, and I barely had any static at all, and if you turn the volume up a little bit you can't hear anything wrong, but you can hear your music played, really well, on a great sound system but it's also the transmitter, that is putting out the sound, it has a great amount of days, trouble, and then mid-range, this thing is just magical to be honest with you. The light is on, so honestly, it's difficult to forget to unplug it. I have not forgotten to unplug it at all, I doubt I will. It tells you what the charge of your battery in your car is when you turn the car on and you plug it in that's awesome, a lot of them do that, but it's still it's awesome, I literally cannot think of one thing that the others do, except for maybe find a frequency by themselves, or so I've read all you have to do with this one, is press the middle button and hold it down for a few seconds, and then manually find the station that you are pairing together with your radio station. It's not that much work, let's all get a grip please all you have to do is press the button a few times, I listen to it all the way from Orlando Florida to Daytona Beach florida, had no problems whatsoever, I think I had to change the station once?, I don't know, but again, everything says poor if you were to look into the stations that are open for FM transmitters here. Every single thing says poor, there are no good blank radio stations. But this one overrides even the bad ones. I have read many reviews, and they all say best bang for your buck, I would say best bang for anything. And as far as talking through it, as a Bluetooth device, that you can communicate with people while you're driving, everybody can hear me crystal clear and I can hear them it is literally like I have a Bluetooth sound system in my car. I am not embellishing 1%. There is occasional static, and that does happen, and it's going to happen. However, I wouldn't stray too far from this brand, ever. There are other things that are said to be better, or that people may like better with bigger displays and everything else but you don't need bigger displays. There are a few buttons, and once you know what they do, it's very simple. Very effective, I don't need to see a big huge display, and it takes up a very little room. I got a different cord for my GPS that I normally use on my window, I also use my phone I have to, but the one on my window, is older, and it tells me the speed I'm going and the speed I should be going, with my lead foot.. lol.. so I like to keep my GPS up on my window, so that I can see what speed I'm going, and what speed I'm supposed to be going, but I use my phone as my primary GPS and I use the other one as a backup it's still is good it's just not updated. And all I needed to find for that was a different cord one that did not plug into the cigarette lighter, as the FM transmitter is in the cigarette later, and you can't use a dual Port thing, but, I easily found a cord for my gps, that has a USB ending, that I can plug right into this. It has extremely rapid charging, and honestly, like I said Jesus did a great job making this. I wish I was embellishing, I'm so very much not. I'm glad that I tried the other few, because even the one that was good, turned out not to be good, and within a day or two, I was getting a ton of static, the first day it was great and I thought it was a great product too and then all of a sudden, no matter what I did I had static. This does not do that, honestly I could not say anything more about this product, and I don't know what the other products made by this company do, they could possibly be any better than this, but also, everything is on the face of this, except for the button to change the light, and that's on the top of it, every other round transmitter for instance, the buttons are all underneath usually, which is really brilliant, and by brilliant I mean not bringing it at all, it's dumbest thing I've ever experienced in my life. I'm sure that once you learn the buttons, it's easy, but this you can actually see what you're doing, which is also really nice, it doesn't take up a lot of space, it's a fantastic product, especially for its price, if the other products made by this company are better than this, I would really be surprised. ! ... show more
