i have a 2003 civic and 2011 camry, neither have bluetooth. my primary vehicle (2018 nissan rogue) has bluetooth and carplay, unfortunately, on may 18th, i was involved in accident and nissan has been sitting in body shop since, waiting on parts. car stereo installation on anything modern is truly a pain, you literally have to take a bunch of things apart..so not wanting to go through all that, i opted out for this. super small and portable. strong audio quality from my phone. connecting everything literrally took less than 5 minutes, and it paired to my iphone 14 pro flawlessly. you simply find a unused radio frequency and set this to that along with your car radio. streams perfectly and great audio quality for the price paid. i can't speak to the audio quality on phone calls, but the main reason i bought this was for audio streaming from my phone. even tells you the current voltage of the battery on the display! also features a usb plug for charging phone and another one for playing music from a flash drive. for the price paid, and how portable this thing is (to take from car to car) is amazing! not sure why this has negative reviews. it's a cheap alternative to replacing the entire stereo.

I switched to this one after my old one stopped working. Nice microphone. People told me my voice is clearer than the old one. The only issue with the voice when it opens and connects Bluetooth, it is kind of interesting :D
