The media could not be loaded. Bought this knife specifically for chopping Carne Asada, and Chicken Adobada for tacos. The blade on this cleaver is very sharp and one chop was all it takes. the handle is very comfortable for secure hold (on the heavier and bulky side) but the sharpness is amazing (this part may be due to new blade) definitely recommend!

I own several now.. I purchased my first one after reading the reviews and for the price I could not justify not giving it a shot.. Man they say are super sharp and very well put together. I cannot recommend enough. They are as nice or nicer than similar knives for more than twice the price.

I enjoy cooking and I am not a professional. A knife that feels wonderful in your hand, that is made out of good quality and remains sharp is a wonderful asset. Over the years I have purchased high end knifes (expensive and good quality, will not mention names out of respect), from various companies. The other brand knifes get dull, and need to be sharpened. I purchased three different knifes from this Brand. I am very impressed. 1) the packaging that arrives, it is worthy of giving it as a wrapped gift. 2) the knifes feels wonderful, easy to hold and handle. 3) the knifes are wonderfully sharp and do an amazing job. 4) these knifes cost 10% of the high end knifes I am comparing it to, and they perform 200% over the other high end brands. 5) I am going to purchase more knifes of this brand, and give them as gifts to family and loved one. That is how wonderful and amazing this brand of knifes are.

So, I bought this knife because it looked good and had good reviews. First, let me say, it is packaged extremely well. Comes in it’s own box and with a special cloth to clean after washing before putting away. This knife is sturdy to hold and easily maneuvered to cut as well as chop. The grip is perfect for my hand and does not slip. The weight of the blade is balanced perfectly. It impressed me so much, I bought 2 more as gifts to my adult children. My Son called me to say it cuts thru bone even. He didn’t mean to go that far, but it cut thru the meat so easily. My daughter has not given me her feed back as yet, but I’m sure it’s positive. The 2 of us already love ours.
