Used this fixture to replace a florescent fixture in my boat. I wish the fixture was a bit longer to cover/use the old mounting holes...but couldn't find a fixture with that footprint...oh well. The light is very bright and neutral to slightly warm side of the spectrum (not a warm [yellow] incandescent-like white...but not the harsh cool white color either). One fixture lights the queen-size cabin quite well. I think having the off-1/2-full option will be handy when I want light yet want to further conserve power consumption. The frosted lenses create no weird shadows like others reported with the clear lens versions of similar lights. My only concern with the light is that the plastic frame and switch do not feel very robust so am a bit concerned with longevity. Overall I think it is a nice replacement and addition to the boat. ... show more

I like it so well that I've ordered the five pack to to replace the rest the old condesent fixtures These replacements covered the old foot print well I was a little nervous,suspending the lamp by it's very thin wire while makeing connections.
