  • Good value stereo computer cable
Size: 8 feet Style: Braided Stereo Jack Cable
I have been using this cable as an audio cable for my computer to my speakers because I was having some issues with my Bluetooth speakers. This cable has been durable and works great. Would recommend.

  • My new favorite 3.5mm cable
Size: 20 feet Style: Regular Stereo Jack Cable
In contrast to my 8-year old 3.5mm cable, this one is a godsend, and here's why: I had a 25 foot long 3.5mm cable and it served it's purpose for 8 years. Unfortunately, as with everything, it began to wear down to the point that it introduced the 60hz hum sound into my sound system, even without it being connected to anything. It was at that moment, I knew that it needed to be thrown out. I needed a replacement, when I cam onto Amazon, KabelDirekt had this really nice-looking metal-tipped cable. I fell in love with it because of the following: - I enjoy the metal tip more than the plastic tip of my older 3.5mm cable. Mainly because metal is more durable than plastic in general and it adds a bit of chrome to the finishing appearance. - The cable does not introduce any hum or interference of any kind. It must have some very nice shielding inside of it, because my older 3.5mm cable had some bad interference issues. This one? It seems to be very resistant, which I really enjoy. (I wouldn't test your luck by having the cable next to live power cables though. It's resistant, not bulletproof to interference.) - Ergonomics. I've never seen a 3.5mm cable have this much thought put into it, but because the tip is metal and is a chrome finish, it's sometimes slippery inside your hands. KabelDirekt thought of that and came up with a solution: The bottom of the connectors of the cable have a bit of a "pinch area". I use it all the time with my thumbs, because holding it by the chrome metal and putting it into the 3.5mm socket is going to be very hard. However, they were very thoughtful for adding this small quality-of-life detail to their product. It makes all the difference as it provides much better grip than trying to grip onto the chrome tipped finish. (Just as a disclaimer, the metal tip gets cold easily, so user beware! Though I not think that'll be an issue if you are using the "pinch area" they provided in their product.) - I do not think that durability will be an issue, seeing how the tips are made of metal instead of plastic. Though, only time will tell, yeah? (I highly doubt it will experience durability loss anytime soon.) The only possible negative I have to say about this product (more or less a nitpick), is that the chrome finish is a cap, I believe? I had a hard time using the cable with my audio system and I only heard sound out of 1 speaker. I touched the tip of one of the cables and found out that one of the chrome tips was a bit loose and prevented the cable from going in all the way. It was my fault for grabbing it by the chrome and pushing it in. It was my first time using the cable and it was before I noticed the pinching area they supplied for the user to utilize. Overall, I think that this is a very solid product and I will recommend them to anyone who wants to replace their cables and is looking for a modern design! ... show more

  • No Buzz - No Crackle - Great Product!
Size: 3 feet Style: Regular Stereo Jack Cable
Very Well Manufactured Unlike some other cables bought recently - where they would cause the speakers to buzz - these are very quiet. And they plug into the phone with a tighter tolerance - other cables were loose and caused a lot of crackling. Great Product!

  • Pretty Good cable. Liked it better than Mediabridge
Size: 3 feet Style: Regular Stereo Jack Cable
Its a pretty good cable. I bought the cable to replace my Fidelio X1 cable. I did some ohm measurements and found that the tip(left channel) and ground both had really low resistance around 0.2 ohms. The center lead, right channel, had 0.6ohms. whats 0.3ohms..right?! well its 3 times the resistance of the other channel. I would expect a cable this short to have better balance. They advertise being PRO cables, but at this price.. i guess you can't really believe that. overall, its cheap and it gets the job done. You probably can't hear the difference unless you've heard that song a million times with a better cable/setup. Update: So I also bought the Zeskit 4 foot cable and the 12 foot extension, Media Bridge 12foot cable, KabelDirekt 3foot cable and 10 foot extension. Here is how I place them: Zeskit > KabelDirekt > Mediabridge. As far as construction, all the brands are about equal with KabelDirekt being less prone to tangle because of the thicker rubber/plastic material. Zeskit and KabelDirect were about equal in audio signal production with Zeskit just a hair cleaner. The differences were very small. Zeskit had lower balanced resistance. The 4foot cable was 0.4ohms, 0.2ohms, 0.1 ohms from tip to ground. With the extension it was an even 1ohm for tip and center, and 0.3ohms for the ground. KabelDirekt for the 3foot cable was 0.6, 0.3, and 0.2 ohms for the ground. With the extension, the tip was 1.1, center 1.2, and ground was 0.4 ohms. Lastly, Mediabridge had some distortion in some songs and TV shows I watched. The 12foot cable was 1.3ohms, 1.2ohms, 0.8ohm ground. Now maybe the cable I received was a dud, and that thats too bad. Bass was loose and treble was grainy. It also made my left earcup of the headphone warm. Switching to KabelDirekt, there was an immediate "OK, thats much better." Then testing the Zeskit I was more, "OH yeah, thats it." For Zeskit being 4feet longer than MediaBridge and 3feet longer than KabelDirekt, resistance test fared better by being lower and balanced. I hope that was helpful. =) ... show more
