This is a great subwoofer for $80 ish on sale. Build quality seems very good. Pretty heavy so must have thick walls. Woofer seems decent. Sounds pretty good. Might not be fast as a $500 woofer but not so high volume it does pretty well. There is little bit of port noise from the two ports in the back. However, you get lot of subwoofer/bass for what you pay. Hopefully, it lasts 2-3 years ... show more

Item arrived. Packed very well. At least 3 inches of clearance inside box for sub. I paired this with 2 bookshelf speakers adjusted the volume and viola. For the sale price, you cannot get anything better. I have 2 SVS 2000’s in theater room this is not an SVS nor was it a 10th of the cost. I would recommend it for anyone that wants a 2.1 setup. I bought this at a steal $86. I tested it and it preformed extremely well for the price. I don't have much experience with powered subs but man this thing was way better than expected. Picked up a second one for $76. Would love a YouTuber to test this thing see what type of number this thing puts up. Tested this one against monoprice 12" subwoofer $99. In my opinion bass was deeper and more dynamic than monoprice 12". Which I could see a review on this Legrand unit. I'm sending my monoprice 12" back to Amazon feel it's a bit weak. Side note it says this Legrand unit is 150 watts but subwoofer says it's 125. Also cross over goes from 40-180. The only bad thing I noticed was that it's not level so I adjusted the plastic cone feet but they rattle if the feet are loose. The Legrand unit seem like it uses good materials and build expect for the uneveness. It's sound more powerful than the monoprice at the same leves 50% gain volume and at 80 cross over. I'm gonna keep these because of the value. Now at $300 -$500 which I have seen it go for online not sure it's would be a good deal. ... show more

Great for under $100. - Hits hard but xould use some more damping. A bit boomy for my liking. - Port noise.. yes. You can hear it. Its there. - Buy 2 and use at 50% and they bang the room cleanly. - Sounds better after a 32 hour break in. - May sound tigher with ports shut. Didn't try it but inclined to try it. Will update the review with findings if I do. - I feel an upgraded driver may offer some more head room (think replacing existing speaker with a car subwoofer) - Ports in the back and there are 2. (a bit uncommon). - Rated at 125w RMS. Not 150. - Plastic feet but adjustable for leveling. Better placed on carpets than a hard surface. Use rubber feet if you have hard flooring. - No good for $327. Great for around $100. - Standard sub with level, freq and phase controls. Has Auto mode on the power button like most subs. Gets warm with continuous mid to high volume.. nothing to be concerned about. It could mean the Amp is a class AB inside (good and better than those class Ds). - Front firing woofer with back ports. - Half inch wood material. Could use 3/4inch. ... show more

Figured a review was needed since there were none to be found on the internet. I had my reservations and concerns on ordering this sub-woofer because of the lack of info I could find, but my fears were laid to rest when it finally came in and I got it all hooked up. this thing rocks! I adjusted the frequency and tuned it in to my system and it is unbelievable the bass and range this sub-woofer has. if you are thinking about buying a woofer take a serious look at this model because it exceeded my expectations by a long shot! ... show more

Picked this up when it was on sale for $65. Absolutely nothing to complain about at that price point. Using strictly to augment bass in a stereo setup with bookshelf speakers. I grabbed 2 of these when they hit $65. The pair sound sound alot like the 15" 150 watt cerwin vega they are replacing. I would say these are a good deal at 100-150 a piece. Compared to my expensive svs 1000 pros. Well there is no comparison.
