The media could not be loaded. “I really like this Lego Technic Monster Truck. I especially like its pullback feature because it can actually go over ramps. With most Legos you don’t really get all the action you get out of this toy. It stays together when it lands a jump. Putting it together was a positive experience. One thing I really liked about it is that it took longer than some other Lego sets so it can take patience too. The springs were a little hard to put on at first. Wow, this LEGO Technic Monster Jam Max-D monster truck is an absolute blast! My kid and I had so much fun building it together, and even more fun playing with it once it was done. The attention to detail is amazing - from the authentic colors to the functioning suspension and huge tires, this truck looks and feels just like the real thing. And even though it doesn't come with a mini figure, there's still plenty of action to be had. We've been crashing it into other vehicles (LEGO and non-LEGO alike) and sending it flying over ramps, and it's held up incredibly well. This monster truck may not have a motor, but trust me - it doesn't need one. It's powerful enough on its own! Overall, I highly recommend the LEGO Technic Monster Jam Max-D 42119 to anyone who loves a good monster truck. It's well worth the price for the hours of entertainment it provides. ... show more

My son just turned 6 when I/Santa got this for him. We didn't just build it in one sitting. We got to enjoy it for a few evenings. Reading the directions, finding the pieces that match the awesome pictures, and then putting it together. He playes with it with his other trucks, but this one stays inside lol ... show more

The only things I can complain about is that the price of these keep going up, and the instructions for the atv that it says you can make with the set is not in the book it comes with. You have to find them online. Kind of silly after you pay so much for the overpriced sets in the first place.
