  • its just great
Another great product from lego, everything when together and instruction were great to follow. All parts were there, With buying from lego all these years, which is a lot, I had just one time that a piece was missing and they send it right away after I contact them.

  • Was a lot of fun
Fun Lego project

  • Small but on-point
Note that the official piece count of 569 has a lot of empty calories: there are 90 pieces of drive track (45 for each side) that have to be linked together, and there are another 20 pieces of gray 1x2 studs that serve only as "rubble" that you can scoop up with the bucket. So that's almost 20% of the piece count right there. But that is my only reservation about this set. This set came out in 2021 and this is the type of set that I wish Lego would make more of in the Technic line: compact but full-featured (there are separate control knobs for arm height and bucket articulation, and it is very satisfying to coordinate the two knobs perfectly to scoop up items into the bucket. Plus the truck can swivel and roll on its tracks.) ... show more

  • Excavator Review
This purchase was for my husband who likes to build with Lego's. He has not started building this one yet, but we have purchased many sets for our children and then our grandchildren and they are always great fun to build. Always a worthwhile purchase, especially for children instead of the usual junk toys. Not a bad "toy" for adults too! ... show more

  • My Intro to Lego Kits, Chose a Good One to Start
I love trucks and construction equipment....at age 80 decided to try this Lego kit...loved assembling it and love the finished model. Word of warning for newbies to Lego Technic kits. I just returned my second kit, the Porsche 911 RS racing model. After opening the box I discovered the bags of parts were not numbered in order of the assembly instructions. Apparently lots of Technic assemblers love the extra challenge of sorting through 6 or 7 bags of Lego pieces to find pieces, not me....returned it today, very disappointed. I don't know how to tell which kits have numbered bags, I'm gun shy about ordering more kits without knowing. ... show more

  • Fun
This is obviously a toy but fun to build. Lego has a number of adult kits that require patience and provide satisfaction upon completion. This was a lot less expensive and good exercise for the fingers.

  • Great product - reliable seller
Challenging Lego Technic build project. Was seeking this specific item which is no longer in production. Happy to report I received a new in box item from a reliable seller. Would buy from again.

  • Awesome backhoe with digging motions
For the price this is an amazing kit. I am an adult, and bought this for me, and will be buying my 8 year old nephew one as well. The bucket angle is tied to the angle of the second lever in the arm. There wouldn't be enough room to route a second control for a linear actuator, so that is a reasonable compromise. The bucket does mostly make a digging motion, so it can be used to scoop up some thing, then lift the whole arm on the other lever, and drop elsewhere. The tracks are also fairly cool. ... show more
