It's the largest set they have so far and it's marvelous. I have almost all the sets for my 7 yr old and this was a homerun with him. It's a little more difficult to assemble but like all the sets the phone app makes it easy even for him to put together.

My 8 year old is obsessed with legos and mario so what better gift? There is an app that goes with this set to show in 3d how to put it all together which means that it's easy for him to do it himself! Be warned that the mario figure is not included in this set.

My son was so excited to get this. He has most of the other sets. I got the standard version and not the frustration free packaging since it was cheaper. My 8 year old has had no issues with it. And expensive set but you get a fair amount for the price. $135 was too steep, im glad there was a cheaper option ... show more
