It's Lego, it's cool, it's VINTAGE Star Wars. I have most of the "diorama" or retro series I guess you could call them. They're all awesome and look great in a collection. I still have a few more to build.

Perfect addition to my collection

    • Capturing the Scene
This set duplicates the scene in the movie well, including an Easter egg on a video panel. There are a few stickers for curved pieces, which was a tad frustrating, but the ID panel in the front is printed. The build itself was overall okay, only a little repetitive. There is also a function to lower the top half of the chamber - although I think the design is clever in its simplicity and interesting to build, it really only works OK as I still have to finagle the top half a bit to set it properly. Granted, it's built as a display piece, so the functionality serves its purpose well enough. The Darth Vader minifig is about what you expect with the new-ish two-piece helmet. Veers, apart from his expression on the face, is rather bland, although that's understandable given his relatively bland appearance in the film. I'm giving it 4 stars because this set fulfills my expectations and has only minor drawbacks, but fails to really excel. ... show more
