Should I Buy It?

If you or your gift recipient is a Star Wars enthusiast who enjoys Lego, this Advent Calendar provides a charming holiday activity with a unique twist. The value is relative; if the idea of a daily joyous build excites you and you're okay with the price, it's a festive and recommended purchase.

  • Great for Adult Star Wars enthusiast!
Great pre-Christmas gift for the Star Wars fan in your life. I gave this to my "difficult to buy for husband" who never wants anything for Christmas. He was very excited to receive this advent calendar- bringing out the kid in him. The sweaters on some of the characters are great! I only gave a 4 star for value-Lego's are expensive-period! If you want to give this to a child to play with, the box cover has a "door" that folds down for a play mat. The play mat could be thicker for play use. I think this is a great gift for adults and children alike! ... show more

  • Nice product
I bought this for my grandson for the Advent season and he loved it. Each piece was easy to put together and he loved the excitement of opening one every day.

  • Great Fun Year After Year
This will be our 9th Lego Star Wars Advent Calendar, one for each Christmas since my oldest was born. There is just enough variety each year to make them fun and a good mix of people/ships/misc figures. We love the simplicity of these and the oldest three take turns putting them together leading up to the big day. It's a nice set that has a reward that isn't candy but of course looks a little non traditional next to our nativity scene. Unfortunately next year the littlest will be old enough to start participating so their turns will reduce from 8 to 6. This change will most likely cause a family civil war. The oldest has already had turns reduced from 24 to 8 and now to see the loss of an additional 2 turns may set her over the edge. She'll likely collaborate with the baby as he's easily manipulated by his oldest sister. The middle two are super close in age and already have been conspiring to take over the world (think Pinky and the Brain). I'm pretty sure if a skirmish breaks out they would win, likely at the expense of the house and local fire department. I'm sending grandma and grandpa in to negotiate, but I'm afraid there is no amount of hard candy that will resolve this situation. ... show more

  • Fun and we love the Christmas sweater!!
We have only opened up days 1-6 so far (see picture for those builds) but the kids are having so much fun finding a new surprise every day to put together. Each tab is numbered 1-24 and has a perforated edge for easy opening. The inside of the tab even has an illustration for construction sake. The box has a flap that folds down to reveal a scene that you can set the legos on for added fun/display purposes. Very pleased with the fact that they provide a few spare pieces here and there as well! ... show more

  • Creative mini designs for your lego pro
Our child was very excited. Nice quality legos and really creative holiday designs (snowman robot, etc). There are no step by step directions to build the figures, just one little picture that shows how to build each figurine. Therefore it may be best if your child has experience with legos or gets help from someone older for the more complicated figurines, like the mini fighter jets . Very happy with this set overhaul. ... show more

  • Good
Fast delivery, arrived on time. Was in good condition as pictured, it did have a smell like being in storage or in a smoking house, but I aired it out & the smell was gone after a day. I’m happy with it & was happy to find it for less than 75.00, b/c that’s what most old Lego Star Wars calendars are going for & it was cheaper than buying the Christmas minifigs one at a time. ... show more

  • Simple builds, but very cool
The builds were pretty simple, but it was cool seeing how Lego simplified a huge spaceship into a one or two inch model. Each day had instructions on how to build the model on the inside of the door. The builds didn’t have much to do with Christmas except for the designs on the box and some characters. Poe Dameron and Darth Vader had Christmas sweaters on, a droid had a Santa hat, and a different droid was a snowman. There was a porg which was great!! ... show more

  • Happy kid/Happy Parents!
This was so worth it this year of Covid craziness! Our little 6.5 year old looked forward to EVERY morning in December! He would try to make a guess on which Star Wars Lego figure he’d get to open the next morning every night before bed. He was up and ready to open the door of the day and put it together in a flash. The directions are printed inside each door panel. We’ve been distance learning in 1st grade this whole year & it’s been hard, so giving a fun little thing every morning has just given some extra joy to the season. As long as the price doesn’t go up, I’d be happy to do this every year. Happy kid! Happy Parents! ... show more
