  • Give this LEGO Car a chance!
Carlos- In my opinion, this LEGO set is good for beginners if they want to challenge themselves because they will feel happy when they finish it. Mrs.Lee- In my opinion, this was a perfect first set for me to gain confidence as a LEGO builder. It was just challenging enough to help me learn, but not make me feel frustrated as a new builder. Carlos- For me, I really liked that the car was a challenge because that made it fun. And the stuff I liked included the body kit because it was awesome and it looks realistic. The interior looks really colorful and it had a lot of features including the fenders, the front bumper, the side skirts, the front fender, the left rear fender, the right front fender, the rear right fender, the back bumper rims, and the stickers. The whole car was cool and the part in the back had a trunk that moved and when it moved it looks amazing. Mrs.Lee- For me, I really liked the way that the different sets of LEGOS that I needed to work with were organized in numbered bags. This helped me to not open too many things at once. I felt like I had just the right amount of LEGOS to work with at one time. I was especially afraid of opening the bags with the teeny tiny LEGOS, but it was not all that bad. As long as you keep them together in one place on the table or in a bin, you can avoid misplacing them or dropping them. In addition, I also really liked how the steps were broken down in the instruction manual. It was very clear WHAT pieces I needed to find and WHERE I needed to place the pieces (most of the time). Carlos- There were a few things I did not like about this set. For example, there were lots of tiny pieces and if you make a mistake, they are really hard to take off. I suggest you make a tool to take it off. If you put a small piece on and if you have to take it off, it can break and slow you down big time. Also, the stickers were hard to put on because it was hard to put it on right using your fingers. That’s all and overall the car is cool. Mrs.Lee- There were a few things I did not like about this set. For example, there were many pieces that, once attached, were incredibly hard to get off. Several times I made a mistake building and knew that I had to take off some pieces to start a section over again. It was nearly impossible to get those pieces off! I tried using my fingernail, a mini screwdriver, and even a paper clip. I wish the pieces were a little easier to remove if and when you have to. In addition, in a few places the diagrams in the instruction manual were unclear. They could have made clearer suggestions about exactly where to place a new piece in relation to the other pieces. I suggest that LEGO obtain some feedback on how LEGO builders are best using the manuals and HOW to make them clearer for easier building. Tips/Tricks 1. Be slow. 2. Open the box first, then the other packages. 3. Don’t open the small pieces until you need them. 4. Be careful not to lose the pieces. 5. After working on your model, look around you for loose pieces. 6. Sort by color first into small bins or buckets. 7. Take your time. 8. Be patient. 9. If you mess up, take the pieces off and go back into the instructions again. ... show more

  • Lego car
Right when I saw this car I fell in complete love. I knew it was the right one for my boyfriend and I decided to buy it. It came in good conditions and I order it let’s say today and it said that it came around next moth and it literally came the next day. I was very surprised and happy. I honestly thought the box was going to be bigger but it wasn’t and I was kind of scared but then I read the reviews again and remembered that the pieces are all over the place lol. I would truly buy again and the price is worth it, the car is absolutely beautiful🫶🏼 ... show more

  • It's easy
This is one of the cheapest Lego cars that I purchased. The size of the car is pretty bigger than I thought. It is a great gift for the kids who love to fix or disassemble and assemble together.

  • Awesome Build!
I LOVE LEGOs!!! If you are a fan of LEGOs and a car enthusiast, this set is for you! Great detail and fun to build. Plus, these sets are the same scale as other lego cars so you can have a race off when you're finished building!

  • Fun
Not as sleek as some of the newer cars out, but was still pretty fun and easy to build for myself and my 7 year old. As with most legos $20 for a small set seems high, but if the kid is having fun I'd gladly spend the money.

  • Huge Fix to LEGO Speed Champions' biggest flaw; this is the one of the best models yet!
The new "wide body" LEGO Speed Champions models fix the biggest problem from previous models: the new models are wider and more realistic in dimension, and they have a passenger seat and can seat two figures instead of one. The GT-R looks fantastic. Speed Champions cars are sometimes hit or miss (looking at you, green '68 Mustang), but LEGO did a pretty good job of staying true to the real world GT-R design. Due to the changes to scale, the GT-R is bigger in every dimension from the previous Speed Champion smodels. It uses more blocks, but isn't much more difficult to put together. My 7-year-old put together the GT-R in about 20 minutes. All said, the GT-R is a fantastic addition to the Speed Champions line. ... show more
