I bought this for his 4th birthday. The 1 to 2 step visual instructions were easy to follow with pictures of each part and where it goes, and what it looks like after you put the part on. We got into a groove at the end of the first page, I said, "I wonder what we do next?" This became part of our building experience as he started saying it before we turned the page in the instructions for the next step. It was a really enjoyable activity. He played with it for hours after we built it. I was especially surprised to see him continue to play with it over the course of the next few weeks, by experimenting and exchanging parts of the vehicles as design while continuing to engage in imaginative play. There is only one con for children, that is the small parts. Other than that, my 3 1/2 year old great grandson absolutely loves the Legos. They keep him and I entertained, shipping was fast and well packaged.

The product was great, but they shipped it in an envelope which crushed the box and it was going to be a gift for a birthday party. Next time they should use a box.
