Description

LEGO Marvel Dancing Groot (76297) is a buildable Guardians of the Galaxy toy with an interactive dancing function. It makes a great birthday gift for kids ages 10 and up who are fans of the character Groot, Super Heroes, buildable LEGO sets and Marvel toys. This Marvel toy for kids has a movable head and posable arms. When kids turn the handle at the back of the flower pot, the jointed Groot starts dancing. The Groot figure can be customized with additional leaves, buildable headphones and sunglasses. Kids can also personalize Groot’s pot by adding 1 of 3 different nameplates to the front (including one related to the TV show I Am Groot). All of these accessories can be stored in the pot’s built-in compartment. To make building the model even more fun, the LEGO Builder app lets kids zoom in, rotate models in 3D and track progress as they go. Contains 459 pieces.

Bought this for my 9yr old son for a christmas gift. He loved putting this one together. The kit goes together pretty easily and has some "extras" that you can put on Groot which helps keep it interesting for a little longer than most Legos after they get built. This one even had a little compartment to store those extra pieces to keep them with the kit. The action on the kit was fun with Groot jiggling side to side when you turn the crank. Our oldest has some Lego motors sets so we hooked one up and let it turbo jiggle for a bit. Son said this was the most fun set to build to date. Once completed it sits nicely on a shelf and has a better aesthetic appeal than some of the other sets he's put together. ... show more
