This set is FANTASTIC. Sometimes Lego sets are smaller than you expect them to be... but this one is amazing and dramatic. The gates are big enough for the T-Rex to hide behind, then you open them for the big reveal. By itself, the T-Rex is just a feat of Lego engineering. You find more cool details in the gate such as Nedry's desk, the toilet Gennaro meets his fate on, the dining room table with ice cream, and Arnold's ARM in the maintenance shed! It took him 14 total hours to assemble it by himself and it is amazing. The T-Rex itself is spectacular and then the gate is just amazing. My 10 year old loved the set! It was the only thing he had his heart set on that he wanted for Christmas. He had it put together in about 4 days (not consistently working on it). it is a bit fragile if you bump it or depending how you move it, some pieces fall off but go right back on. My son and I were really looking forward to this one. And for the most part it’s great. But the T-Rex neck doesn’t stay upright in any position. It just constantly falls back down to the lowest setting. And it makes the thing look a bit ridiculous. I’m not gonna return it because I think this is just a product design flaw, and the same thing will happen with the next one, but $250 is a lot of money for just “okay.” ... show more
