  • Very good set - buy it!
One of the few lego sets that can be worked on by 4 people at the same time. As we're a family of 4 it was perfect! We ended up putting this on the wall next to my Optimus Prime and Discovery Space Shuttle

  • Stunning Display Piece with a Fun, Nostalgic Build
The LEGO Ideas Tales of the Space Age set is an absolute gem for both LEGO enthusiasts and space lovers alike. The set includes beautifully designed 3D builds of cosmic wonders like comets, a black hole, and other celestial scenes, all depicted in a retro, minimalist style inspired by vintage sci-fi posters. Building the set was a fun and relaxing experience, with each panel offering unique color schemes and clever building techniques that capture the essence of space exploration. The attention to detail is impressive, and the final result looks fantastic as a decorative display piece. Whether mounted on a wall or placed on a shelf, it adds a touch of cosmic charm to any space. The set is compact yet intricate, making it a perfect conversation starter. I also appreciate the quality of the bricks and the ease of following the instructions. While it’s not a complex build, it’s satisfying and enjoyable for both beginners and experienced builders. Pros: Unique and stylish retro space theme High-quality bricks with vibrant colors Great for display and conversation starters Fun and relaxing building experience Cons: Some might find the build too simple compared to larger LEGO sets Limited playability, more suited for display purposes Overall, Tales of the Space Age is a must-have for LEGO collectors and space enthusiasts looking to add a touch of the cosmos to their collection. • Fun and relaxing space art
I had a lot of fun putting this together and was very pleased with the aesthetics of all four completed sections lined up side by side. Each one is about postcard size and can stand or be hung on a wall. The instructions were purely visual and easy enough to understand, and it was relaxing to just sit and work with my hands for a couple of hours while I put these together. The simple color gradient has a retrofuturistic charm to it. ... show more
