The Land Rover Defender 90 is one of the most iconic all terrain cars ever build. When you see the boxy shape and aviation green color, you know it's a Defender. And if it was good enough for Queen Elizabeth II, than for sure it's good enough for Lego. And this Lego set is the Epitome of an Icon worthy of the Lego Icon line. With over 2300 pieces and 3 finishing styles, this is one of the most fun build I had. The size is big enough to include elaborate suspension and steering mechanism (Lego Technic style) and a detailed interior and tool kits for a true terrain beast. It's not very cheap but the building experience and the end result is worth every cent. Note: I originally ordered this on Amazon but because of a very unfortunate chain of events I never got it (but I did get a refund from Amazon). Now that was really fun to put together. I love all the different options for configuration. I've never had a set where I could choose between two engines and two tops. Pretty neat. Well done Lego! Arrived on time and in great condition.

    • Fun build as a defender fan but….
As a LR Defender fan I loved this build. I liked the details put into it. The diesel or v8 engine options , the over landing type or bare bones versions. Etc. the details are aggravating beyond belief though. The directions ask you to install the tailpipe way early on but it falls off every time you need to grab the truck to put an assembly on. The seats don’t really sit right but it’s okay. They housing included some more clamps and technic studs to put the tools on the bare side racks. The bare side racks look a little silly bare. Some parts are still flimsy even after it’s finished. For example popping on the intake snorkel. It should have just popped on but the front right fender was a little flimsy still. The value for the money is almost there. The attention to detail puts the value up there but the size makes you question it. Overall a nice build but it could have been a little better. ... show more
