I selected this block toy for my youngest daughter. She has gotten many hours of play out of this kit and what I really love is that the assembly is easy enough for her to put together without the assistance of an adult. Additionally, I enjoyed the coloration of the blocks and she really liked the shades of pink. The parts attached well together and held their position without coming apart during the various stages of the build. The parts are made of high-quality ABS plastic and the value shines through. The instructions are well-written and make assembly a breeze. Overall, I am very pleased with the outcome of this build and joyful that my daughter has enjoyed engaging in imaginative play. Great product.

I ordered the Gabby’s Playhouse and Disco playset as a gift and was very happy with my daughter's reaction. She was so excited and had a great time assembling it with her sister. My husband is the old school LEGO fan and although he complained about the directions being too easy in the new kits and something about how they had to walk uphill both ways to figure out each step in his day both he and our daughters all gave it the thumbs up for good and fun (although my husband was likely wishing it was a castle set, lol. )

This LEGO #10797 Gabby’s Dollhouse: Gabby’s Party Room set offers a variety of pieces and building techniques that are sure to entertain your little one. The colors are stunning, and just so vibrant and bold. There are lots of cute pieces that are appealing. The instructions come one booklet per bag of pieces, which is nice. They are very simplistic and depict images of small hands holding the required pieces for each step. One page shows the pieces and hands, the next page shows how they should be assembled. In addition to the physical booklets that are included with this set, LEGO always includes a link to the building instructions on the product page of their website, and there is also the LEGO Builder app. The latter two methods allow for viewing instructions on a device like a phone or tablet, which so many little ones seem to use nowadays. This set is rated for ages 4+, but little ones will likely need some help depending on their building proficiency and fine motor skills. Themed sets like this tend to be overpriced, and this one definitely exceeds the $0.10 per piece that LEGO typically charges as of late. I would expect a set like this to be about $20-$25 cheaper than the current price of $50. Overall, this is a fun set and would make a great gift.

For context, we are a big Lego-loving household with experience in building small to large sets of all difficulty levels and themes. First a confession, I have zero contextual knowledge of Gabby’s Dollhouse so I can’t comment on how well the set hits that mark. That said, I’ve come across very few themed sets that didn’t do a good job with a theme so I can only imagine that continues here. So about this set. - Build. Very well laid out with extremely explicit instructions on what pieces to grab and where to put them in each step. Having built earlier 4+ sets, this is the first I’ve come across that was this deliberate with each step. Excellent. - Colors. Beautifully vibrant using mostly standard Friends theme colors. - Mini-fig. Friends them style and compatible. Nice deco. - Model design. Like many recent sets, buildings are mostly open floor plan design. Not my most favorite but works very well as a playset and is appropriate here. Some nice play value touches like the slide. Window detail is stiff plastic sheet which is just ok. Works but likely the first piece to be mucked up with play or storage. - NO stickers. - Value. $0.20 per piece definitely isn’t the greatest. All in all a nice easy to build and colorful set though the current price feels a touch on the high side.

My kids absolutely adore the LEGO Gabby’s Dollhouse Disco Playset! It’s a fantastic blend of fun and creativity, featuring a vibrant disco room, a cool pink car, and adorable animal figures. I love Legos and I love offbrand Lego sets. I don’t buy the 4+ sets because they are usually overpriced and they’re very few of them that my children or I would enjoy. However, my daughter really wanted some of these sets so we went ahead and we got two of them. The instructions in the sets are so well laid out for children. I love it.! I watched my five-year-old, who usually gets frustrated with the LEGO sets and becomes overwhelmed by the instructions and the amount of pieces. She’s always coming to me and having me build her set even though she really wants to buy herself. She got so excited about this set in particular she was able to follow the instructions by herself. She didn’t need my help to finish finish building this and she felt so accomplished after she was done. Every bag has its instruction book. These sets are loaded with play features. She was so happy with every little thing she built, and all the features that this set offered for her. Honestly, this Set in particular pairs really well with the LEGO friends bowling alley. I was so proud of my daughter while she was building this. And the amount of joy that came from watching her feel so accomplished doing this on her own was awesome. As far as the price goes, I still don’t agree that the 4+ cent should be so expensive that is really frustrating to me so I remove star. I really needs to think about this because they do it every theme before sets are overpriced..
