  • Great Quality!
This lives up to the Lego name & is a great set! I can't wait for my nephew to put it together because I know he's going to love it! He's 15, and though he doesn't play with Lego as much as he used to (he used to be absorbed in it for HOURS on end!), he still enjoys making things from time to time. I can guarantee this will catch & hold his interest. Very cool set! ... show more

  • Space themed 2-pack
There's really not a lot to add here. It's a 2-pack of previously released and still available space-themed Lego Creator 3-in-1 sets. It really boils down to 2 things: 1) Do these sets interest you and 2) is buying them in a set a good value? To point 1, we found the sets to be typical Lego quality, i.e. easy and fun to build with nice, playable models when done. That said, the Spaceman from the large set is likely the most delicate of all the builds. There are some cool gimmicks to it (you can put a minifig under the helmet to pilot the suit as if it was a mech), and the stand is nice but ultimately, it's the least "toy" design of both sets. Because of that, the simple, playable fun of the smaller set was our preferred set of the 2. Just a fun little set with lot of play options - really giftable if looking for a single set as a side note. (Also, lots of very detailed reviews on both individual sets are out there if really wanting to dive into the details of each.) To point 2, value, with 2-packs going for full retail of the individual sets added together, the answer is likely not so great. Unless you need both sets at the same time and in the same box (with lots of extra cardboard to boot as they just threw the 2 retail boxes in a new box) you're likely to find at least one of these sets discounted making buying separately the better deal. In summary these are good sets, that may or may not interest you though buying them separately is likely to offer the better value. ... show more

  • Fun & Good Value
The main attraction here is not just the fact it's cool space oriented Lego but the two for one pack. If you have kids that like Lego then this should keep them happily occupied for a good amount of time. Both of the sets (Astronaut & Spaceship) are 3 in 1 designs so kids can create 6 different things! Lego is usually expensive, especially for larger sets but at $65 this is a great deal. These aren't the largest sets but they are definitely fun and have kept my son quiet and occupied which has given me some peace and quiet! There are approx. 800 pieces provide the opportunity to be creative and make anything that comes to mind, not just as instructed. Bear in mind this is for ages 9 and up and not suited for younger kids due to the size of the pieces. I also like that a stand is included and the creations can be displayed. ... show more

  • Out of This World
This spaced themed Lego set is packed with fun and a great value. While sets that are themed with major franchises get a lot of attention and can be familiar to people, these old school type sets can stimulate imagination and get a builder back to basics. A very versatile set that allows you to build two different things, and each of those sets can be built into three different options. I think they should have led with an astro pup over an astronaut, I mean a pup dressed for space is really cute. The space shuttle set also gives you an option of a more traditional space shuttle or a futuristic/sifi type ship. A lot of value packed in this set makes it a great value for its price point of about sixty five dollars. ... show more

  • A Posable Astronaut, or Two.
Thank you for this 'Two sets in One' Space Creator Set! It is a good sized (3 in 1) Astronaut set, and a small (3 in 1) 144 piece 'Shuttle set'. The Astronaut set has five numbered stages with three build options. The Astronaut is quite tall, slender, very posable and has a spot for a Lego man inside. Note: There is no Lego man included in the set, one is in the pics for scale. A good set for young or old alike. Great as a toy, or for the space collection! There are no stickers in either set, or tricky bits. The small set is one quick stage or step, with an option to also be built as an astronaut. The young ones should be able to do either set by themselves. :) Thanks again! ... show more

  • Buy them separately
Let me preface this by saying that this is not about the sets themselves. They are excellent 3-in-1 sets and provide a great amount of entertainment in their various forms. There's not really a savings by buying them together though - retail is $65, but the two sets go on sale regularly for $44 (astronaut) and $8 (shuttle), which makes them quite a bit cheaper when bought separately. I hate to review this poorly based on price alone, but I feel it is important to point out in case buyers think they are getting a discount with this combo. ... show more
