My almost 5-yo grandson plays with this the most out of all his Christmas presents, so that’s a win. I thought he might be better off with duplo, but this seems great for him. There are many teeny tiny pieces, yes, but it’s not really that difficult to clean it up, especially with the nice storage case. He does a lot of imaginative talking while he plays with it, which is great. It has 2 booklets with build ideas and instructions. Very cute, and handy storage. It’s legos what can I say, my toddler loves it! The directs are sooo easy to ready, and if he doesn’t want to build with the preset instructions, he can open his imagination and build a variety of shapes, I love it how legos come with the tool to help separate the shapes.).     • Perfect for Lego-Loving Child or Adult
This Lego set is wonderful! The bricks are all bright colors which are very appealing to my Lego-loving grandkis & their Nene (me). We have a 6 year old grandson that has been building Lego kids with is dad since he was 3. He recently told me that he wanted to become a "Master Builder" which he defined as a being able to build a new Lego from "old Legos." This set is perfect for that child who wants to start building their own creations & displaying them or rebuilding them! I also love the sturdy container they come in. There is plenty of room for other Legos to be stored there as well. We just might be able to reclaim our dining room table finally! LOL Completely recommend this set!!! ... show more

I do love the vibrant colors pictured! We're upgrading our kids from Duplos to standard Legos this Christmas and bought these early (anxiety about tariffs and all). I do wish the Vibrant collection showed all the included pieces like other sets do, since it's hard to gauge just how varied the pieces are. I know my kids will love the collection regardless. I don't think this set is so different from the Large Lego classic set that it should be almost 2x the price, but I do like the storage box and wanted each of my kids to have a different color. What can you say bad about Legos? You know exactly what you are getting and shouldn't be taken by surprise. I do always wonder why the cost is so high for something that hasn't changed in years and is made of plastic. Stamping out of the same molds over and over doesn't explain the high cost.
