I'm an adult who recently took up Legos as a small hobby. I had considered puzzles but that can take up your table for days or weeks and I wanted something that didn't linger around so long. I have done the Lego roses, the sunflowers, and now the cherry blossoms. This one was a bit more of a challenge because it had so many small parts and I have long nails but I got able to work around them rather quickly and I must say it turned out absolutely beautiful! The vase in my photo is not included I got it at a hobby store. It's recommended for 8 years and up. The cost was very affordable it was fun to do, it would make a great gift even to an adult, and the detail of it is gorgeous. I highly recommend it! ... show more

This lego set is absolutely beautiful. It does not come with a vase or anything so it is not something you can have stand on it's own. You can put this on the table but the pieces are very fragile. The instructions on this is not too bad but the angle of some of the pictures can make it hard to assemble the actual stem. The stems have to be oriented a certain way so make sure you double check that before putting it together. That being said, on a scale of 1 to 10 in terms of difficulty, I would say this is about 5 or 6. The reason being that the pieces are fragile. There is a branch piece that can be broken if you put too much pressure on it. So when putting the flower on the branch do not press super hard or you can bend or snap the branch off. Both flower stems are exactly the same in term of build design. It just has different colors. There are a lot of small pieces and repetition on the build so just be aware of that. Once completed, you can actually put this in a small vase to give it a nice look. It actually looks real from afar with a vase. It is super beautiful. Overall the lego set looks really nice. It is fragile though so be careful when handling it. Also the orientation in the instruction can make it difficult to build but once you finish it is absolutely beautiful. I would recommend you have something to put this in because the ends are fragile and some of the branches are flexible pieces that can break off if you put this on the side. ... show more

I bought this as a project to do with my granddaughter. She was ten at the time. She reads and follows the directions as fast as she can turn the pages. I tried to help, but the pieces were so small that I mostly put the stems together while she did the flowers. It was a great gift, and we had a lot of fun!
