One of my favorite sets! I love the Architecture series and this is one of my favorites because I've had a love of Himeji Castle for a long time. The instructions are clear and as always, very easy to follow. The booklet even has the awesome history of this castle included and explained as you build. The colors are as accurate as LEGO can get without making the piece count go way up. It is rather big for a LEGO set, but that is to be expected for the Architecture series. Absolutely beautiful example of Japanese architecture and I enjoyed every minute of the build process. Design was exquisite with so many small intricate details constantly grabbing your eye, I just stopped several times just to look at the progress I was making. Instructions were dead on and easy to read which pieces were needed; I did not back off a single brick placement through the entire process.
