My 9 year old son spent a few hours putting this together. He absolutely loved it! This is better than a lot of the sets because it actually does stuff after it's put together. It has a lot of moving parts and he spent just as much time playing with the built set as he did putting it together.

This is definitely a set for older kids or kids who are into the very intricate details of small Legos. My son is 5, and loves Legos and all things Angry Birds, so this is a big hit with him. However, he also loves to take things apart and move them around and make them his own.
