I wanted to love these pants and was determined to find the right size so hopefully, my review and experience can help guide some other lovely humans in the process. The regular fit (one with the drawstrings), the waistband is smaller than the fit of the rest of the pant. However, the slim fit bands are extraordinary large in comparison to the rest of the garment (I know, contradictory, right?). I normally buy a 2x because I like a little bit of wiggle room but the waistband in 2x was a little tighter than I prefer so I sized up to a 3x. The pant fit great, except for the length. I really wish there were inseam choices with the sizes for us short and tall people. I’m 5’1” and length was about 6 inches too long on me. There is a cuff at the bottom, which helps to reign some of that length in, but the makers must think that we plus size ladies have Popeyes biceps for ankles because the cuffs are extremely wide and do not cuff tightly enough, forcing me to pull the cuffs up to my calves and folding the remaining length over. I liked the regular fit and wanted to try a pair of the slim fit because they looked shorter. However, thinking that I would encounter the same issue with the slim fit waistband, I ordered up a size and the 3x were literally falling off of me so I downsized to my regular size of 2x. They didn’t give me any tummy control and still felt too loose so I decided to size down again to a 1x, and they fit perfectly around my waist. Snug, but not tight and they were amazingly comfortable. The slim fit have more of a yoga pant type look to them because I downsized, which I was a little bummed about because I would have preferred the lower end of the pant to fit more loosely like a true jogger but for the low price and comfortableness of the pant, I’m going to keep them. The inseam seems to be more reasonable on the slim fit pant and I only need to contend with about 2 inches of extra pant leg. Also, the cuffs are also more reasonably sized in the slim fit and fit more snug around my ankle, giving me the true jogger look I wanted. All in all, the slim fit is the pant that I much prefer and will only be purchasing that style going forward. It’s a great pant that is super soft and comfortable and I would highly recommend trying out different styles and colors like I did to try and find what works best for you and your body type. For reference, I am 5’1” and 247 pounds, and carry my weight pretty evenly between my stomach, booty, and thighs. The 3x in the regular and a 1x in the slim fit worked best for me.

These are super comfortable and flattering. They're exactly what I was looking for - though I wish I could find them in organic cotton. I'm giving 4 stars because I can tell they won't last. I have a jute-rubber yoga mat, which has some texture on one side, and these snag and leave little bits of fuzz on that. They're clearly fragile, as far as pilling and snagging goes. They had a very strong chemical kind of smell when I took them out of the package, which I have never encountered before. They're more breathable than most synthetic fabrics, so I'll give them credit for that. Of course, I knew they were synthetic when I bought them. That's why they're cheap. I do love them, as far as comfort and appearance, it's just obvious they won't last, and I hate buying things that just end up in a landfill after a few months (yes, I try to recycle clothes, but it's not always effective).

I like the design and fabric and they're very comfortable but I'm quite disappointed at the size however. I'm 5'4/120 lbs and I ordered an x-small and it is too big through the waist, baggy in the thighs and just generally too big. And I am no stick figure either, I have full thighs and wide hips. The longer I wear them the more baggy they get. The length is good though, not too long. They are also not holding up extremely well in the wash, the fabric has some slight white pilling over it that looks like lint but is just dryer damage. I can't really use them in the gym , but they're comfortable for wearing around the house. I'm over stating the cons; over all they're pretty nice pants and I would definitely order them again if the sizing was better.

These pants are incredibly smooth. Not slippery like Lycra, but they feel like buttery soft cotton to the touch, and they have more stretch than any pair of spandex pants I own. The ankles aren’t tight, there’s plenty of give, I can even wear them comfortably around my calves if I wanted to. They move with me, they don’t stick to my legs when sweaty, I can squat and kick freely, and no tugging on or shifting of my underwear at all like other workout pants do. And the pockets! A back sacrum pocket holds about 3/4 of my iphone14, leaving the top quarter of it sticking out. The front pockets hold the phone completely, and there is even a small hidden key pocket inside the right front! They’re super comfortable, I’ve already ordered more.

Overall I’m fine with my purchase, but it’s SO annoying when they put side pockets on pants and they’re too shallow to hold anything. It’s hard enough to find women’s pants with pockets, but to add them & make them non-functional is just insulting. That said, they’re extremely comfortable: as in, I forget I’m wearing them during yoga & jogging. I ended up keeping them because the rear pocket is secure enough to hold my phone and keys for quick errands. Sizing: I am 31”W x 41” hips & I got an XL because I wanted them baggier in the hips & legs. The waist still fits well enough for them to stay up even with stuff in the back pocket, but if you want a slim fit like the picture, go by the size chart. The length comes right between my calf & ankle, & they stay at my knees when I pull the legs up. Overall I’m happy; I just wish the side pockets actually functioned.
