PRODUCT REVIEW
Size: Strength 2.75
This brand of reeds is easy to use and produce nice sound at all rages of the horn. They help play well compared to natural reeds.

Legere Signature Reeds are great. If you haven't played a synthetic reed in awhile, try them out.
Size: Strength 2.75
These reeds are very durable. Which justifies their cost as they last a long time and there are value for the money. Legere makes several families of synthetic reeds depending on your personal style and the music you play. They also have a reed return policy that lets you exchange a reed you don't like for another (within time limits). I no longer play cane reeds with the inconsistencies of cane. Always consistent Legere reeds. ... show more

It works very well for marching band.
Size: Strength 2.75
My son uses this while playing the saxophone in his high school marching band. He tells me it is more convenient than using traditional reeds. However, the band director specified that it can only be used for marching band performances; traditional reeds must still be used for other performances.

Uniform High Quality, Long-Lasting
Size: Strength 2.75
I love Legere reeds for my tenor sax -- always a B+; maybe not an A, but never lower than B+, and last 5 times longer than cane, which is good because they cost 5 times as much. I have gotten professionals to adopt them as practice reeds, even if they hold out for the 1 out 10 cane reeds for performance work. ... show more

Highly recommend!
Size: Strength 2.75
Just to give you some background, I have been playing saxophone for 10 years and have a degree in Music Performance. I tried a synthetic reed many moons ago when I was first starting out and I don’t remember the brand, but I hated it and have been playing on cane reeds ever since, usually Vandoren blue box, and most recently Hemkes. A couple members of the saxophone quartet I play in rave about Legeres, so I figured I’d give them a try. Let me tell you these reeds will not disappoint! My tone stayed warm and all notes spoke easily and evenly with these reed. Altissimo was easy to produce and there was no variance in tuning tendencies on my horn from cane to this Legere. Bottom line is these sound great and are going to save me a lot of money when it comes to buying reeds! When selecting your strength, size down .25 from what you regularly play on cane reeds. I ordered a 2.75 because I usually play on a 3, and it is perfect! ... show more
