Top Amazon Reviews

🚀 Abunda's Overview

This is our summary and key points to consider based on customer reviews.

Most customers appear to love the taste of these protein bars, highlighting the cookies and cream flavor that resembles an Oreo cookie. However, there were mixed reviews regarding digestibility, with some users finding the bars a bit heavy to digest and others recommending not eating them right before a workout due to a bloating feeling. One user found the bars to be hard and tough to bite, but overall they have been described as a good source of protein that could be used as a meal replacement.

Pros

  • 🍪 Great taste resembling Oreo cookies
  • 💪 Good source of protein
  • 🔄 Can be used as a meal replacement
  • 🥦 Contains high fiber content

Cons

  • 🧪 Contains a "bio-engineered" ingredient (possible GMO)
  • 🪵 Hard and tough to bite for some users
  • 🎈 Can cause bloating or heaviness in digestion
  • 🍬 Some users found them to be overly sticky/chewy

Should I Buy It?

If you're looking for a protein bar that tastes good and can potentially replace meals, and you don't mind a potential bloating feeling or chewiness, this could be a good choice for you. However, bear in mind that it may contain GMOs. If you have issues with digestion, you may want to eat it a few hours before a workout rather than right before.

  • Delicious, gluten-free, low-card and high protein? WOW!
Flavor Name: Cookies And Cream Size: 12 Count (Pack of 1)
This review is for the Quest Nutrition Cookies & Cream Protein Bars. The Good: The TASTE!!! The high protein! Low carbs! GLUTEN-FREE! Low sugar! The Bad: The price. The Ugly: Seriously, the PRICE. The Long Review: These protein bars are really top-notch. They have great texture and mouth feel (rare in a protein bar!) and the flavor is spot-on. They definitely fill you up and can be used as a meal replacement, at least in my experience - always check with your doctor before making a major change to your diet! For me however, I went through a bar too fast initially by just eating it like a normal candy bar. So, to resolve that issue, I have taken to cutting up the bar into cubes. I find this gives me a LOT of little bites, very satisfying as a snacky person, and it takes longer to eat the bar, which allows me time to actually feel full. The only disappointing part to these is the price - Quest charges a lot for their product, and I assume this is because they know they have a real winner and people will pay extra for the high quality, great texture and fantastic flavors. Final Thoughts: If they don't break the bank for you, I highly recommend any of the Quest protein bar products. Whatever it says it'll taste like, it most likely will, and it will mimic the mouth feel (texture) as much as possible. ... show more

  • My Go-To Protein Bar – Great Taste, Awesome Value!
Flavor Name: Cookies And Cream Size: 12 Count (Pack of 1)
Quest Nutrition Protein Bars are hands-down my favorite protein bars, and the 12-count boxes have become a staple in my pantry. Here’s why I’m giving them a full 5 stars: Taste & Texture: The Cookies & Cream flavor is a standout—sweet, creamy, and packed with that classic cookies-and-cream vibe without being overly sugary. The texture is chewy with just the right amount of crunch, making it feel like a treat rather than a typical protein bar. At 21g of protein, 1g of sugar, and 4g net carbs, it’s perfect for my keto-friendly diet. Nutrition: These bars deliver on their nutritional promises. The high protein keeps me full for hours, whether I’m eating one post-workout or as a quick snack between meetings. They’re gluten-free, which is great for my dietary needs, and the low sugar and carbs make them guilt-free. Value & Pricing: For some reason, the Cookies & Cream flavor is often cheaper than other Quest flavors like Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough or Birthday Cake. I always snag these on sale and use Amazon’s Subscribe & Save for the best deal I’ve found anywhere. The discount makes each bar incredibly affordable for the quality and nutrition you get. Convenience: The 12-count box is perfect for stocking up, and the bars are individually wrapped, so I can toss one in my gym bag or keep a few at work. They don’t melt or get crumbly, even in warm weather. Minor Note: The bars can be a bit dense, so I recommend having water on hand, but that’s common with high-protein bars. It’s a small trade-off for the awesome flavor and nutrition. Final Thoughts: Quest Protein Bars are my top choice for taste, nutrition, and value. If you’re looking for a keto-friendly, gluten-free protein bar that doesn’t skimp on flavor, these are a must-try—especially when you grab them on sale with Subscribe & Save. Highly recommend stocking up! ... show more

  • Great snack
Flavor Name: Cookies And Cream Size: 12 Count (Pack of 1)
The Quest Protein Bar is a game-changer for those seeking a high-protein snack without compromising on taste. With 20g of protein and only 1g of sugar per bar, it effectively curbs hunger and satisfies sweet cravings. The texture is pleasantly chewy, and the variety of flavors ensures there's something for everyone. While some may find the sweetness from sugar alcohols a bit strong, it's a minor trade-off for the nutritional benefits. Overall, it's a convenient and delicious option for a post-workout snack or a midday energy boost. ... show more

  • Not bad! Decent Taste and it'll do the job.
Flavor Name: Cookies And Cream Size: 12 Count (Pack of 1)
Macros: 21g of protein and 13g of Fiber. Beats most protein bars out of the market if you're just going for this. It does keep you full. Taste: They're not bad, the cookies and cream flavors aren't so strong. You can taste that it's artificial but it's just good enough. Texture: It is chewy (a bit hard if you refrigerate it), like any other protein bar and it'll take some effort to go through it. Smells decent as well. Doesn't really melt like some protein bars so that's pretty good. Overall, a solid 4/5, won't be your favorite but definitely worth a shot to see if you like it. ... show more

  • My Daily Go-to
Flavor Name: Cookies And Cream Size: 12 Count (Pack of 1)
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ My Daily Go-To — Tastes Like a Treat, Fuels Like a Champ! I eat one of these every single morning, and I honestly look forward to it. The Cookies & Cream flavor is spot-on — it satisfies that sweet craving without wrecking my nutrition goals. You get 21g of protein, only 1g of sugar, and it keeps me full for hours without the crash. The texture is great for a protein bar — chewy but not too dense, and no chalky aftertaste. Plus, it's gluten-free, so it's a great option for those of us avoiding wheat. I keep a few in my car, gym bag, and desk drawer just in case I need a solid snack or meal replacement. If you're looking for a protein bar that actually tastes good and works, this is the one. Highly recommend — just try not to eat two at once! ... show more

  • Protein Bars
Flavor Name: Cookies And Cream Size: 12 Count (Pack of 1)
I really like Quest Nutrition Cookies & Cream Protein Bars because they taste awesome and actually remind me of a cookies and cream dessert. They have a good chewy texture with crunchy cookie bits, plus 21g of protein if my 70 per day is needed. Plus they keep me full between meals.
