I LOVE this thing. I've been sleeping on it for about a month now. It's firm, for people that want a firm mattress, and it gives unbelievable support. The kapok stuffing seems dense and supportive but also soft and comfortable (kind of like one of those stress balls that you squish in your hand, but less squishy). I've never experienced any stuffing like this before and I'm hooked. The mattress is very versatile, as it can be partly rolled up and used as a chair/loveseat/lounge. My cats love it too. To keep it in good shape, you need to knead and fluff it like you would a pillow. This process is actually pleasurable and relaxing, so I don't mind that at all. If you always lay in the middle and never refluff the stuffing, then the stuffing will gradually shift to the edges, etc., but the stuffing is so dense that it doesn't shift that much. Just a little kneading/fluffing every day will keep it in good shape. Even though the bedroll cannot be machine washed, it can be kept clean. The unthinkable has already happened, about two weeks after I got this, my cat peed on it. I used Martha Stewart's odor-neutralizing spray, baking soda, white vinegar, and a steam cleaner to spot-clean it. Laid it out in the direct sun to dry. It seems fine! So that was the ultimate test, now I know I'll have this thing for a long time and will probably buy another one someday. I've recommended this mattress to everyone I know. ... show more

I use this for sleeping on the ground. First, it's really beautiful - a work of art. It's well made. It is very firm comparing to western style mattresses. I have scoliosis so it's better for my back to sleep on a harder surface, this does the job well. You could use it as extra pad for guests as well since its so pretty. I don't see this coming apart anytime soon, but it will happen from regular use just stitch it back together it ain't hard. Overall I am very happy, thank you! ... show more

The media could not be loaded. When I first picked up the box, I noticed how light it was. Phew, that’s so wonderful! My whole reason for switching was to lighten my load as a massage therapist. So I unboxed it and the packaging is on pretty good. It was tied pretty tightly which is a peeve for me, but I can switch it up now. Unrolls really easily, has a tag saying it’s made in Thailand, major goodness! Fabric feels durable, when you lay on it it’s comfortable, not sure about the long term thou. On a wooden floor, it slides, that’s my concern, so now I have to find a way to get it to not slide while working on clients on wood or tile floors. I guess my only complaint is the color, I thought it was a bit more fresh and vibrant green. I made my cards to be more vibrant and that’s why I chose this color otherwise I would’ve just went for the black! It’s about an olive 🫒 green color.     • Firm, good for back pain, sustainable materials.
I LOVE how the roll design seems to fit my curves in all the right places. Even my ankles feel supported. Plus it is long enough to roll the top down as a pillow, even for my 6 foot husband. Each little roll by itself is soft, and I can squish them. As a whole, it is a firm mattress for sure. My back (scoliosis) doesn't feel "tired" after I wake up on this matress. A big plus to me. My husband says it is a little too firm for him so for now, I use it on top of my other mattress, so I can't say how it would be every night on the floor, but for the last week and a half I have had only one tossy-turny night from back pain on this mattress, and that was after digging a very large hole in my yard. I feel the mattress will be easy to hang out to air out if needed, or even spot clean and line dry when necessary. It is a smooth, soft material. I’m very happy with the purchase. Initially bought it as a yoga mat but it has become a favorite meditation seat/ floor mat. Can be used as a mattress topper or as a sleeping pad. Nice colour, durable, good material and not too heavy either . Overall it’s a good buy. Very pricey but worth the money.

The cushion top on my mattress started to sag and deflate after a few years leaving my back stiff and painful in the mornings.
