This is honestly the cheapest and most effective way I’ve found to make candles for the candle season, fall and winter. I’ve been making candles for every room in my house and giving them to my family, friends, and coworkers. The melter works great, heats up quickly, and keeps the wax at a steady temperature. It’s easy to use and clean, and it hasn’t clogged once. I’m super happy with it and totally recommend it if you love making candles or want to start. This wax melter is dangerous and should not be in a home. The first 2 days of using it seemed fine, I thought the negative reviews were inaccurate, I was wrong this thing is out of control literally, I have no idea why they even installed a temperature control because it does nothing . After the 3rd use I was making an order for my client and before I knew it the temperature went skywards, I could feel the heat from a couple feet away. I used an accurate digital thermometer and the temperature was 247 degrees Fahrenheit, boiling water is 212 so you could imagine how fast I turned it off , to my surprise it was still climbing in temperature so I just unplugged it. I included a video of a demonstration of having the control just set under 122, it climbed to over 188 on THE lower setting, I felt compelled to write this because it’s dangerous, i seriously doubt I have a bad one I think they are all gonna start messing up on the 3-4th of use. The size is good, no ease of use and I am going to return it.
