    • Great Shorts But Could Use Some Design Improvements IMO

Wanted to wear and wash these a few times before writing a review. Overall, love them. Fit well, seem to be well made and I expect durability, and very comfortable. Also love the web belt that came with it and the way it fastens securely. However, I would have given these 5 stars except for the following. IMO these could have been perfect with a few design changes. First and foremost, make the left side pockets exactly the same as the right side. The right side is VERY functional. The left, not so much. While the bottom left pocket is functional, the top left little pocket is useless IMO. Too small and will never use it for anything; it just takes up space that could be put to better use. Also, I'd prefer velcro on the back pockets, but I can live with the buttons. But I do plan on buying a few more pairs even with the annoying left side pockets design. ... show more

    • Great Shorts/Value But Leg Length Too Long
These are great shorts, especially at the price found here on Amazon. However, I had to return them because the leg length was simply too long. Physically, I am an average male in every respect, i.e., 6 ft tall, average weight, average shoulder width, arm length, and leg length (nothing odd looking or out of proportion). And yet, these shorts still hit me at just below my knee, making them uncomfortable and quite frankly just goofy looking (like the NBA basketball player's overly large, long, and baggy looking shorts). I was disappointed in having to return these shorts because they appear to be well made. The material is just the right thickness, and soft. The stitching is good. The included belt is nice and wide, and very functional. All the pockets are positioned properly (for cargo shorts) and highly functional, i.e., a wide variety of sizes, being deep enough, etc.. Oh how I wish the leg length was shorter. If this had been the case, I would have immediately ordered three more pairs of them. ... show more
