I buy these every couple years for my husband its the only shorts he likes. The wear really well. These are comfortable to wear all day. The problem is they do not keep the sizing consistent. He is a size 34 and that is what we bought but when holding them up to a old pair of 36 they were closer to the 36 then the 34. These shorts do not shrink so he will have to wear a belt. These were pretty great! They are a nice wide fit and have all the pockets and loops needed. They are a bit of a thinner denim than I wanted, but that’s how all things are now I guess. All together they’re worth it!

I was enjoying these and had a "small disagreement" with a miniature lion. Actually, it was a serious error in my judgement. We were in a rush for time and the lion had soiled itself in the carrier. We needed the lion inside our 5th wheel RV but it needed to be rinsed clean first. I attempted to hold the tiny lion while my GF applied a water hose to wash him. It became instantly clear that this wasn't going to work and brought the lion to the deck in an attempt to use the ground to assist in further retraining it. It was at this moment that I discovered there were two dogs in the yard and they were very curious as to what was going on. This only further infuriated the already incensed lion and he decided that eating me might help him escape. Once part of my body was pierced by those massive fangs, it became an issue of survival. Should I release the lion, it would dart away and be lost. There was also some fleeting thought how much more damage I would suffer as its feet and talons sought traction. All ended rapidly as my GF opened the door of the carrier and I shoved the head of the wild beast inside and it released it's grip seeking escape. With the violence de escalated I sought refuge in the air conditioned RV where this retired Marine cried harder than an antifa "activist" who just had his baseball bat taken from him. Meanwhile my GF completed the cleansing mission while the very unhappy lion remained in the carrier. The blood.....MINE.... covered the left leg of my comfy shorts and so I just ordered another set. NOTE No non humanoid animals were injured and the tiny lion and I are back on very friendly terms.....though each with a better understanding of the other. ... show more

    • Loose fit Favored over Wrangler Carpenter Jean shorts.
Size: 32 Color: Original Stone
Sorry, Wrangler, same size of 32 had to be returned b/c of tightness in the legs ( I have skinny legs). The Wrangler’s inseam was about 9-1/2 and rode too far up the thigh when seated making for an uncomfortable situation. Lee’s however, were approximately 10-1/2 inseam with more than adequate leg circumference so felt comfortable in the sitting position. Also, seemed like all pockets were slightly bigger so iPhone 11 should fit in the lower side pocket. Bottom line , the loose fit is exactly that. ... show more

This is a wonderfully surprising pair of shots as there’s only one (1) issue. They are a bit too thin for the material. I would highly recommend anyone interested in this kind of shorts as it’s a good value for your money. 👍
