These shorts have a good fit and the hidden “phone” pocket is ideal for a money clip wallet or small phone. Sadly, the material is just not strong enough for continued wearings. After I first got these shorts, I wore them for a couple days, then washed them (All HE detergent, cold water, tumble dry casual). I wore them a couple days and about halfway through the second day, while getting on my bicycle, they ripped at the zipper. Not the zipper itself or the seam, but the actual fabric ripped. I didn’t catch them on anything, nor were they stretched tight, just the act of pulling them tight as I lifted my leg ripped the fabric. That’s unacceptable in my book.

So, I really like these shorts. For the price they are great quality and they fit great. Only one problem - they sent the wrong color. I ordered the "Buff" color, which is a light khaki. They sent the "Vapor" color, which looks gray. So, I liked them enough that I was going to buy another pair, anyway, so I did just that. Only this time I am ordering the "Bourbon" color rather than the Buff. So, really no biggie. Hopefully they get the color right this time. I think this is the first time Amazon has sent the wrong item to me before that I can remember in 23-years of ordering here. Fortunately, I liked the item and the "wrong" color and liked the quality enough, so I still give it 4-stars. It would have been 5 had the order been correct. The shorts themselves strike me as a 5-star. I love the thickness of the material, and, again, they fit great and are great quality for the price. I'm 6'7" and 340 lbs, so the 44 waist is terrific. 3-Stars for Amazon.com on this one. 5-Stars for the shorts.

these are the best shorts I ever bought in my life-- fit me great--I am a large old man-- I love all the pockets for separating things while on the go or travel-- the coolest is the built in pocket for a smart phone---it is genius-- i liked them so much -I bought several more--- i hardly wear my other shorts since I bought these a year ago-- I live in a tropical climate and they are perfect-- you can put a few bucks in one pocket-- secure your passport in another and wallet in a 3rd--plus the slot for the smart phone-- a few more pockets for keys--a pocket knife--etc-- clever and functional and they look great-- i took off the belt and use my own belt-

Comfortable. Size as expected. Legs are a few inches longer than I'd prefer, but I guess that's the style now. They go below the knee. I prefer top of the knee, as pictured in item ad. Personal preference, but worth noting. I'm sure a smaller waist would have shorter legs. I'm a 44" waist, 30" inseam. So, if you're a 33"+ inseam, the 44's will be above knee as pictured. I'm just a really tall hobbit, honestly.

Just got these and have to say very comfortable fit. I like the belt so dont know why some reviews said it was flimsy. Seems fine to me, a little bit fussy trying to push bitter end through belt loop after cinching up but no big deal. Buying another pair now that I have seen the quality. Also for those that may wonder I an 5-10 at 310 lbs so 48 in waist fit fine.

I purchased these in a size 44. The pictures led me to believe these were going to be Lee Extreme Motion shorts. What I go was some other Lee cotton short that does not match the photos. They are camo and come with a belt, but not what was represented. These are not the stretch comfort material that the Extreme Motion shorts are made of. Black shorts turned out to be the same type of short... not Extreme Motion.

The hearty stitching, functional cargo design and great fit make these shorts stand out. I've ordered another national brand here on Amazon, for almost the same price, and the difference in quality is night and day. Beautiful and wide canvas belt, stitching closer to blue jeans than thin cotton summer fare, and I am one big and tall happy guy. Will be ordering more without reservation. I'm a resident of Phoenix AZ and cool durable apparel is what I know.

I have been buy these shorts for years. I love the way they fit. This time they were not the same size as my last order. They are about one size smaller. The older one is on the bottom in the picture, I don't know if you can see the difference but there is one. Both marked same size and made in the same place.
