I really like these LED lights. They are very pretty and come with an adhesive strip that makes them very easy to install. They make a big difference. The quality is good. I bought this light strip to add to my laser. I lined the lid with them and they add a lot of light to the laser area. The remote is an added plus for turning them on and off.

Super easy to put on, look good. It does feel like the color tone has a lot of blue hue to it, definitely going to have to get used to it. To those who said you cannot cut them, you can, you just have to be sure to look closely and only cut at the little gold markers that have a little scisssor icon (positioned every 1.5-2" or so) If you cut anywhere else it will not be able to complete a circuit and will not work (not to worry if you made a mistake, just re-cut at the last scissor icon!) I included an image of the location you should cut in the review. I read other reviews that said it did not stick well. I would advise thoroughly cleaning the area you intend it to stick. I also wiped with alcohol on a little rag and waited for it to dry completely prior to attempting to adhere. if there is dust, grease, residue, etc it will not stick well. Mine stuck just fine to my pre-cleaned mirror frame with no problems. ... show more

For the last few years I’ve been buying the Hollywood Style LED strip lights for my bathroom mirrors because they really make a difference with how much light they bring in and I haven’t had to use a lighted makeup mirror either since they basically replaced using one. Love them! So I was just getting ready to purchase another strip of them to replace the one that finally stopped working in my large bathroom when I ran across these and decided to take a look at them because I really liked how they looked in the picture. They just looked neater without the spaces with a wire in between them like my regular go to’s. I also liked how they had so many great reviews because I read them before buying something different. I’m also the type that usually sticks to what works before buying something different and honestly had to think about it awhile before I finally took the leap and bought these. And OMG LOOOOOOVE THEM! They are so nice looking it’s amazing!!! They make a $50 mirror look like a $250 mirror and are SO easy to put on! I’m so obsessed with them now that I’m ordering more to replace my other ones that do still work because the difference is like night and day! I don’t leave reviews often-usually it’s only if I get something absolutely terrible or I absolutely love and I absolutely love these! Trust me and buy them! Buy more than one set! This is a fairly decent priced set of LEDs for what you get. The adhesive is very sticky and easy to apply. I did not try cutting my adhesive to fit the vanity. I originally bought this set to light up the front of the mirror, but then I realized that I would have two issues with that. 1) The light string would show and it's godawful ugly to allow anyone to see. 2) The LEDs would be absolutely blinding if I faced them to put on my makeup. Instead, I decided to use them to backlight my mirror. It took me about 3-5 minutes to stick the light strip to the back of the mirror in a very imperfect way (since no one was going to see it, I didn't care how I put it on). I basically wrapped the lights along the edges of the mirror, and had enough to go around the mirror and along the edge of the table. The result? Looks awesome. The reason for the 3 stars? The lights STAY ON WHILE OFF! There are about 4-5 LEDs on the strip that won't turn off even when the light strip is off. It's super annoying and since it's in my bedroom, it's always on while I'm sleeping, which is frustrating. I'm slightly worried that it may be a bit of a fire hazard, but I am unfamiliar with LEDs, so I have no clue... The photos I included are of the lights while off, but showing the glow (my phone camera isn't that great, so it's not a true fair representation). The other two are when the light is in the dimmest position, and the lights in the brightest position. The dimmer is very easy to use, and I have mine mounted on the side of my vanity with a double sided command strip. Overall, not a bad value. Love it!!! So if you noice on the right side a few of the lights are not working. The instructions said not to fold the strip at the corners but I did anyway for a better finish. Still came out nice.
