These go on nicely, and look great. Wiring is simple, and having the integrated switch is a bonus. The light strips are pure white and linear in light, not the usual separated LEDs. At night, they light up the truck bed brightly. I ran the center beam under my tool box lid. The adhesive seems to be holding up well, as these have been installed for months, and they're not falling off. I have a plastic bed liner, and these stick to it well. I got thees for my 2017 GMC Canyon with a long bed. I won't lie when I opened the box I was a bit underwhelmed. But I decided to go ahead and install them and im glad I did. Wow are they ever Brite tons of light just as I hoped for. My truck has a free plug right behind the driver's side tail light that is connected to the overhead bed lights so I connected mine to that plug. So now when I hit the switch on the dash for the overhead lights my new bed lights come on as well. I also have the switch that came with the kit stuck to the bed side by the gate so I can turn them off and on from there as well. Great kit highly recommend. The adhesive on them stuck to my bedliner perfectly I did wipe everything down with rubbing alcohol first and used a heat gun to warm the adhesive as I installed it. Im super happy with the product. My installation could use some work but thats on me not the product. 10 out of 10 would definitely recommend. ... show more

Just arrived and installed. Very bright. I stuck them to an angled part of my 2014 F250 bed box which provided a nice angle over the bed floor. Ran straight from the battery with 2 fuses in sequence (a 15A at the battery and the 3A that came with the kit). I would consider myself decent at electrical wiring and mechanical work - and I found the install very easy. The LED lights are encased in a vinyl type plastic half tube so we will see how it weathers. I stuck the adhesive backed LED string to my bed liner and I’ll see how long that works as I don’t want to drill into my bed. The wires are very small, but appropriate for the load. The double casing over the wires is nice, but I thought the connectors were not very weather resistant, so I used shrink tube over them. I also used all weather butt connectors to extend the passengers side light as the wire in both was right around 48”, and it would not extend under the bed to the power source. I also put shrink tube over those for extra protection. The included push-button switch seems of decent quality and should be weather resistant. I mounted the switch in a corner of the bed that should be out of the weather when my tonneau cover is open. I did think it was odd it didn’t come with a little adhesive tape to mount the switch, but I used one of my many extra command hook pads, and that seems to work nicely. Overall I’m happy with this purchase given the cost to quality. 4 stars because I reserve 5 stars for perfect products that far exceed expectations. 4 stars to me is very good quality. I’ll come back and edit this review if they don’t hold up. ... show more

    • F150 Bed and toolbox installation
I bought this kit for my truck bed and my toolbox. My F150 has the 8' bed and a crossover toolbox. I installed two of the strips under the rails in the bed on one circuit with a Dorman pushbutton switch. I mounted the 3rd in my toolbox on another circuit with with another Dorman pushbutton switch. So far, the adhesive tape seems permanent. YOU MUST THOROUGHLY CLEAN THE AREA WITH ALCOHOL BEFORE YOU STICK IT DOWN. My toolbox is black and it's been in full sun on 95 degree days.     • Short life span
After 5 months, they quit working. At around 3 months they started flickering occasionally. After 4 1/2 months, they were so dim they were useless. After 5 months, they were dead. I checked all the connectors and my solder work and there were no breaks in continuity. Product is poorly made, apparently. I ordered a new set of the COB version and will see how they do. ... show more
