I was very happily surprised when I unpacked these lights from the box, very nice trailer light set, everything you'll need, nicely made and nice bright LED's to boot! My 14 year old boat trailer bulb style lights were shot, the metal sockets were rusted and not functioning most of the time. While backing the trailer into the water to unload the boat, if I forgot to disconnect the trailer lights first, having my foot on the brakes the stop bulbs would be on, hot and then pop the bulbs as soon as the water hit them, this won't be a worry any more with the LED's! Plus these are a lot brighter then the old bulb style, win-win! Nice lights, nicely made and everything I needed was included. I love the old square look, just fitting for my old fiberglass boat and vintage trailer, a 1957 Gator trailer! These just look right and they are a welcome upgrade! And to boot a very fair price for what you're getting! Five Stars! ... show more

This is a well made and complete set. All the wiring and connectors are tinned for true underwater use. Sealed so they won't burn out. Great replacement for the stock lights on the trailer and of course being led, they are a lot brighter and more effective.

Waterproof, no. The set could easily come with a handful of waterproof nuts, and a common ground wire for the tail lights to make it substantially more waterproof. This will legally get you up on the road in about an hour, but I’d recommend going to Home Depot and buying waterproof wire, nuts and electrical tape and running a common ground wire. ... show more

I love the way these trailer tail lights look. What I don't like is the wiring diagram. All I wanted to do was install new trailer tail lights without installing the new wiring. My current wiring still works and I wanted to use the same wires. I spent over an hour trying to figure out what connects to what. After I figured it out and installed the lights correctly, I found that the tail lights look bright and stand out due to the LED design and layout.
