Quite bright for what it's worth. Installation was a bit annoying but manageable. Cons: Very, very annoying noise/whine. Honestly a deal breaker, it is very noticeable and inconvenient. Colors are terrible. The white is more of a teal, and white is one of the most important colors for quality bias lighting. Lighting modes available are trash as well, they switch between colors way too fast on every mode, even the "slow" one. Adhesion was quite trash, strips literally falling off mid installation. Remote control is terrible. Range is bad, have to basically be behind the TV to use it. Wouldn't buy again, I recommend looking for a more high quality product, even if you have to shell a bit more. Saving a bit of money wasn't worth it here. ... show more

I was so excited to receive these lights today. I took my time reading the directions, and understood everything very well. I had all my arrows in order with the 5 V going into the plus sign. My television has a 5 V USB for it in the back. It’s only a-year-old 65 inch TV. So I proceeded to plug it into The USB port on the back of my TV after carefully at hearing all four strips with connectors. I was very excited at how well the adhesion was. So as soon as I turned on my TV it changed three different colors and then just shut off. So I turned off my TV, then proceeded to turn it back on and they did the same thing. So I thought that I would just connect to a power source with a 5 V iPhone The USB port on the back of my TV after carefully at hearing all four strips with connectors. I was very excited at how well the adhesion was. So as soon as I turned on my TV it changed three different colors and then just shut off. So I turned off my TV, then proceeded to turn it back on and they did the same thing. So I thought that I would just connect to a power source with a 5 V iPhone USB converted plug end. So I repeated the steps above, and they were working for about two minutes. Then I hit the feed button, and everything started flashing crazy, and just wouldn’t stop flashing. So I use the remote to try to turn the lights off and the remote was not responding one bit. I did have the receiver hanging below the TV, to where it could read with no problem I was actually right up on it. Anyway very disappointed that now this product Hass to be received back in order for me to get my refund. I can assure you that they’re going to come all stuck together in the box because they were already installed. USB converted plug and. I love these lights. They are easy to put up and they stick really good. They look great. I put these on a 65 inch TV. Anything smaller I think would be too long. The only problem I have is with the remote. After I turn them on and pick a color I can only do it 3 times then it won't work. I have to get up and walk over to it and shut it off. Then it will work again, but only works 3 times again. I have no idea what would cause that. ... show more

The pictures show the corner connectors at a 90° angle but these do not twist that way without bending. It’s out of sight so I don’t mind much but the adhesion tape came off after only one reposition. It’s on the tv now but if I ever need to position one more time it’s definitely not sticking. The controller won’t work unless it has a beeline sight of the receptor which is located behind the tv so I can only work the lights if I point the remote behind the tv. Good for the price. But I wouldn’t order again. Also if you’re going to buy these stick them closer to the edges of your tv you’ll notice the lights better. ... show more

This is a great kit at a very good price. The kit comes packaged well, and easy to install. 1. Test the lights before you use them by plugging in all sections to the adapter and then to a USB port on your TV etc (there are 4 strips total that separate by connectors). 2. Clean the surface with alcohol wipes that you plan to mount these to. 3. Install the lights and use the flexible strip connectors to daisy chain them together. I purchased the kit designed for 65"-75" tv's. The light strips fit my tv perfectly and were the correct length for a balanced look. The adhesive is plenty adequate but again prepping the surface of what you plan to mount these to is crucial. Also the remote works well and has the ability to change brightness, color, and other features as well. ... show more

    • Blue color doesn't trasmit through every strip.

I can only assume that I received a non-functional set. For some reason, the initial strip that has the USB attachment will work fine. However every strip after that does not pick up the Blue color. Green works. Red works. However the Blue does not. What this ends up doing then is rendering every color that uses blue hue useless, because the other 3 strips won't pick up the blue color. This ends up making the colors different around the TV frame. Also the Red stops after the second strip, unless you fiddle with it and get it in the perfect position. This is annoying, and usually results in the Red failing to pick up through the last two strips. The only good things about this product are the adhesive and the remote control. Both are far superior to the previous light strip I had on the TV. However this issue with the colors makes this purchase a total dud. Also the brightness on them seems to be very weak, even with all the lights off. Pretty disappointed with the purchase. A functional set for these lights would make them a must have. But I have to say I'd recommend shoppers look elsewhere. ... show more
