These bulbs are advertised to fit most sewing machines, including the Sears Kenmore. And, yes, they fit fine in my Kenmore, but they are longer than the original bulbs, so they hang down below the housing a little bit. Since the bulb location is not where it will interfere with my sewing at all, that is not a problem. It is simply an observation. For reference, my machine is a 1976 Sears Kenmore machine. The original bulbs are glass. These LED bulbs are in a plastic housing. The plastic is another reason I am not concerned with the bulb hanging low on my machine. I deducted one star because of the longer length of this bulb, as I expected it to fit the same as the original. It is almost ½ an inch longer. Upon submitting my review, Amazon asks me to rate the following: Brightness – 5 stars – EXTREMELY bright! I had to quickly close the housing because I had it open when I turned on the light to test it and it was shockingly bright. Easy to install – 5 stars – Installing and uninstalling the bulbs is quick and easy. Value for money – 5 stars – Great value for the brightness. Time will tell, but these LED bulbs should last a long time. Overall, these are a great product, and I recommend them as replacement bulbs for your machine.

I have two Singer Featherweights so was excited to change the traditional bulbs out. My first Featherweight is the traditional black one model 221 and the bulb fit perfectly and I was amazed at how brilliant the sewing area became! My second machine is a White Singer Featherweight also a model 221, but this machine is a tiny bit smaller and lighter. Fewer of these White machines are around and they are more expensive if you can find one. However try as I might I was unable to get the bulb to fit. The original bulb has a slight taper to the glass and the new LED does not. so I was not able to push it in and twist. I had to take away one star as it is advertised as fitting the Featherweight machine and it did not fit the White Featherweight. I

My wife's vintage Touch-and-Sew eats a bulb per year and even when they're not burned out, it's still a barely adequate light. Like many others, we found the following: -It's BRIGHT. Like you could sew in a dark room without any other lights on bright -Fits the socket but it is a tad longer than the incandescent, necessitating a little tweaking of the light cover She also tested it out on her vintage Model 66 that was retrofitted with a light. It brings a giggle knowing a machine converted from treadle is now using a 21st century LED light.
