    • Relatively easy to fold by one person, but two people are better.

This blanket is slick when trying to fold it back up, but it can be done by one person. I love the strap that is attached and wraps around it. With the blanket secured by the strap, it fits easily into the carrying case. The carrying case is so nice as it has a pocket, a carrying handle, and a shoulder strap as well. It has a drawstring on the one end to hold the blanket inside. I bought the matching stadium chairs (blue) and they look great with this blanket (blue plaid). This blanket is quilted, but not with thread, and I don't understand how it holds together, I can only verify that it does. The blanket is not what I would call "thick" either. But, if I lay it on the ground and fold it over a few times, then their is some cushioning between me and the rocks underneath. The blanket is also wide enough for 2 people to sit side-by-side comfortably and feel covered. It is the right length, in my opinion, to not excessively be dragging on the ground when sitting on the bleachers with 2 people underneath it. I hope that I never need it during a rain storm, but I am comfortable with the idea of setting it on wet grass at the park in the mornings. I will not take it to the beach because the fleece will collect too much sand. However, I will take it camping to use outside with my camp chairs, or to lay it on the ground. ... show more

This is great for picnics. It’s not as soft as I’d hope but if you are wanting something to keep you off the damp ground this is it. I also used it in sand at the beach but it does get a little warm laying on it because of the type of fabric. I would recommend this.

I bought this product because it looks soft on one side and cool color on the other side, and because I was looking for an easy to pack travel blanket. It does fit those descriptions but it is not quite as soft as I was hoping. It is a swishy sounding material, so if you are sleeping in a place with other people who might be light sleepers, just be aware of this. It stuffs back into its carry sack with little effort. I didn’t realize that it is kinda short for me though; if I pull it up to my shoulders, my feet kinda stick out and I’m 5’8” (68 inches/ 172 cm tall). But it is fine for camping or hanging out on the beach. I will keep it anyway. ... show more
