I got a two pack of the “4 bar” style lights for just over 16 dollars on sale. I just got them tonight and set them up immediately, and for the price, they’re great! They have telescopic poles (think old fashioned antenna) that are tall enough for almost any houseplant, extra long cords with the usd adapter included, built in timers, and multiple lighting modes. Some people have commented about all the of cords at the top looking bad, and they do, but I’m just going to gather them up with a small zip tie so they aren’t all over the place. Gonna love this light for long dark winter, haven't set up yet as have plenty of sunshine still. It is very bright, has several modes, & timer. It is not flimsy at all. Looks nice. Was packaged well, and the price was right, I figured it would be flimsy for the price, but, I was totally wrong. Would definitely purchase again! ... show more

The media could not be loaded. These extra large halo lights are great above most large bushy houseplants. Most halo lights being sold are only 3.5 inches... these are SIX INCHES DIAMETER and somehow a cheaper price. The post these mount to could be better. It includes five 12-inch cylinders which can be assembled together with a stake at the end. So your post can be either 12 or 24 or 36 or 48 or 60 inches. If they would include a 6 inch cylinder, then you would get twice as many length options. Sometimes 12 inches is too short and 24 is too tall, but 18 would be ideal. Can't do it with this rod style! The 4-stick model has too much wiring visible to look good. So I took it off the rod, threaded a bolt and nut through and attached it to the underside of my kitchen cabinet. Now I have lighting on my kitchen counter. Showing off a couple terrariums in my photos. I like this 4-sti k light better than a typical u see-cabinet light panel, because I can pull down and adjust the light sticks to shine closer or from the sides. ... show more

I had not heard of these plant lights that can be stuck in a pot with the lights arranged over the plant to give it good light. I wanted something to keep my outdoor potted plants healthy over the winter indoors, as they can't get good sunlight inside. These are just right! I don't know yet if they actually give the correct lighting for plants, but I am hoping they do, since it's what they are made for. I will post again after winter is over to say how the lights did. Some of the reviews have said the white cords are unsightly, but they don't bother me. If I wanted to hide them, I think they could go on the back of the plants. As long as the lights keep my plants healthy (a rosemary and a ghost pepper plant), I will be happy! ... show more

This grow light seems to be working well for my plants. However, it's unattractive. The whole thing is an eye sore that makes my plant stand significantly more tacky. The ugliest part is the cord, which is white and very noticeable. While I wish that it was battery operated, the cord does offer one nice feature. The timer on it makes the light come on daily without my pressing the button. I didn't need to buy a separate timer to plug it into. For the first week, I thought my wife was just turning it on every day, and she thought I was. Another note: it's not an American product; it's Chinese crap. I automatically take an extra star off when rating non-American products. Unless something is particularly incredible, it's hard to convince me that foreign products are worth much. Personally, I would have opted for an all American grow light (even if that just means a full spectrum bulb in an ordinary standing lamp), but this was the one my wife wanted, and "grow light" isn't the hill I wanna die on. ... show more

Has saved some of my plants! Has promoted healthy growth and can be used on a wide variety of plants/applications. The timer function is super convenient if you aren’t home all day. Have never felt intense heat coming from the light.
