The media could not be loaded. I hear a lot of bad things come out of buying renewed items. This is the second renewed item I’ve bought off Amazon and it works just fine. The iPad DID need an update which of course it would. It DID come with only 1% battery life which is fine. The quality was what I was expecting, perfect. For the value of getting a renewed item, it’s worth every penny. The appearance didn’t have any scratches. After updating the iPad, it was a smooth user experience. Didn’t like this particular model year. Love iPads though. I am on them constantly. I would steer clear of this one due to chronic battery drainage which I found out about after buying it. The only reason I selected this one was for the Amazon payment plan. Mine wouldn’t hold a charge after a couple days of non-use. This was for my wife & she doesn’t use an iPad that often. So, I didn’t try to use it until the battery failed. I returned this one & bought a brand new iPad, non-air, for $100 less. This one works amazingly & what a great deal! This battery works all day. The iPad Air 5 still works great after purchasing it back in February. So far I've had a good experience with Amazon's refurbished tech. The device is from 2022 but the M1 chip has been serving me well and The iPad doesn't seem dated at all yet in my opinion. It's fast, charges quickly, and a has a nice display even though it's not OLED. (c'mon, Apple!) I'd say this is a decent price for what you get, especially for a higher-end tablet from Apple that is powerful. Refurbished helps. However, my Google Pixel 6a has an OLED display and it was far cheaper. The packaging was lose though so that is something to look out for, but there was no damage. ... show more
