We bought this LED Open Sign for our restaurant, and it has been a total win. Our front window gets a lot of direct sunlight throughout the day, and we were a little worried it might not be visible—but the sign is super bright and easy to see, even in full sun. The size (8x19 inches) is perfect: large enough to grab attention without overwhelming the window. It’s lightweight, so mounting it was easy, and once it’s up, it stays put. The build quality feels solid, and the materials seem like they'll hold up well over time. No cheap plastic vibes here. This sign has been great from the moment we saw it. It's big, but not too big. Can be seen from a distance but small enough to fit most places. Its also bright. When they say they guarantee it can be seen even in daylight they arent kidding. Pretty much anytime except direct hit from the Nevada mid day sun and you can see it lit colors and all. Direct hit you can still read the sign just no colors. The setup is super easy with or without the phone app. Has many effects and color combinations. Wish there were more but thats getting very picky. Absolutely great value. I have to admit we will be doing some minor, warranty voiding modifications to make it as weatherproof as possible to use outdoor too. I'll update how well it holds up being used in an unintended way (outside on a big free standing sign) This should be interesting since it is vented all around the sign. Best bet for anyone wanting to do so is enclose it in a plexiglass box. The included pics are actually of the sign. So bright my camera had to reduce the exposure so you cant see anything else around them. They are not blinding tho.

UPDATE: have had the sign for over a year. We had it unplugged for long periods of time due to not being open due to Covid. It does NOT like to reconnect to blue tooth easily. I’ve learned to remove any other smart devices on/near me (Fitbit watch). Shut off the blue tooth for any other devices, then delete the sign app, reinstall, unplug sign, plug in and then it connects. I’ve had to reinstall the app twice before to make it work. Otherwise it’s a great product still, just crappy that it struggles to connect to blue tooth. Everything arrived in a timely manner and in one piece. I love that this has blue tooth (which was super easy to connect to). It has easy set up for hours, changing of colors and a built in timer that you can customize to turn on/off as you desire. Like previous reviews state, it is hard to read (especially in the sunlight). You see the "white" lines of the non lit lights and its just a mess. Some reviewers stated they used window tint on those lines. I cut tiny pieces of black card stock and taped them onto the sign, covering those "white" non lit lights. Easily removable for when I need to change our hours. It would be nice if the company would send tiny black "window cling" stickers to cover up those spots for easier viewing! Other than that, product has been working fine! (I've only had it for a day...) Will update further down the road if something changes!

So this is my 3rd open sign (not of this kind). I tried a NEON one I tried a LED one that was under 100.00. The sun comes across as an angle in front of the retail location so we get some sun but when its bright in the morning it reflects just right an open sign can be hard to see. I tried to buy something and stay under 100.00. (All items i bought from amazon). The first one i bought. was neon. Just didn't produce the brightness only time you could see it was at night. Then I bought and LED one. I ordered that one and got something totally different in. Tried to return it for an exchange and got the wrong one again but I kept it. Over time it just faded out. I decided to stop wasting time and money spent a lot of money on this one and its just great. You can adjust the colors and you can see this all day round. Its huge. Its definitely the biggest open sign i have seen. It has a remote but I just downloaded the app. Set the on and off times and off it went. Works on its own just the way it should. I would recommend don't waste money and just go for this one.

Made it a year and a half then failed. Lotsa work to get up on a ladder and install, then replace. I expect more than a year and a half out of an expensive "Open" sign. Also, it comes with a remote control clicker that takes an odd kind of battery which is not readily found in stores. The battery only lasted about a month and a half to two months at most then had to have a tiny screw driver (think eyeglasses) to disassemble and replace. Hard to operate as a stand alone unit, it wants an app on your cell phone with a EULA that is pretty invasive. I refused to load the app.

Decent quality. Easy to install. Light Not quite bright enough. I researched a lot of them this said it was bright even in the sun and it's not really. My building faces south east and the sun pretty much makes it look not turned on. Other than that no issues.
